If the Indian response goes after 2nd week may... most probably it would be in POK.

Reason: Exercise Dhruvtara being conducted from 6th to 11th may in Uttarakhand which is mountainous area same as POK.



The targets most probably would be Mujahid force who are "Irregular combatants" under command of Paki army but are not part of PA's ORBAT.

It's the Mujahid force whose members(double up) regularly infiltrate and do attacks. A member of Mujahid force can at the same time be associated with any jihadi outfit like LeT/JeM. So this is a very flexible organization. It has 8 Brigades and 60,000 members.

The Pakistan army's strength in POK(AJK+GB) is 1,50,000 out of which only 33% are regulars.

Likely Indian objectives: 1. Push the LOC forward to acquire high grounds across it's entire length & 2. decimate the 8 Brigades of the Mujahid force through pulverising Aerial & Artillery bombardment lasting upto a week or two.

IWT Abeyance will play role in taming PAK for all future terrorists acts, as of now its just warning.
India will create infrastructure in such a way that PAK will beg for water. It won't we long lasting effect even though. I do not know how they are up against IA , but its not walk over for sure. They pose significant threat even though we are higher in numbers.
Having said so , i believe they can not afford long war and that is what India is planning. To me seems to be ground invasion and slowly built pressure for 10 to 15 days war period to make PAK army panic .By doing so it is expected to run over POK,GB at least and while setteling we may keep these area and will agree to enter into new IWT.

We have prepared for the same.. this time it would be drones which will be doing post strike assessment while we will also employ kamikaze nd swarm drones to strike nd film attack in full hd.

I was thinking whether we can get footage from the ground from pakis, induce them thru payment or paani.

I was also thinking during the Balakot strikes why we didn't have like, drones or something to film the destruction of jihadis and relay the footage back to India.

Constant china china rant is annoying, if this narrative is to be believed, then we will never be able to do a impactful retaliation to them ever, every few years or so such attacks will happen.

Unless somehow there is a massive change in our defence framework, nothing will change in future, pakis will eventually succeed in doing another such attack and we will whine about muh china muh ladakh. Keep in mind, appeasement never works, appeasement led to ww2, you can't appeas likes of pakis.

Modi has to take risk , he has no choice. In case if war happens case 1. If Pak looses , India will ask them to surrender with their terms and PAk has to agree unless they go nuclear. Case2. If India loses , same as case 1, here India has to agree to the terms of PAK. What important is, this is not going to be final status-co.
losing nation will built their capability and will try to enter in war again after few decades. No Nation is permanently subjugated by any country for very long period unless they do not wish to fight.
So this cycle will repeat unless there is complete nuk war in this region.

If we are getting into a prolonged conflict with Riyasat-e-Pudina, it would be wise of GOI to arm Ex-servicemen and ex-CRPF/BSF with concealable arms. State Govts should also be authorised to arm ex-police personnel.
