There is no benefit viz elections.

However public anger is still hot and they have to drip-feed such photos to show that *something* is being done.

I have a feeling this time it is pakistani army top brass including Munir and isi jihadis whose heads are on the line! How and when is subjective but thier army is very very scared as pakistanis overtly not supporting their Jernails, high probability that pakistani army chiefs may invoke strategic depth and run away to UK.

Prime Minister should have a ex-military strategist who will guide PM to make decisions especially indigenizing our military equipment. When military returns the funds, it should be directly used to buy weapons made in the country. For 10,000 crore we can jack up the production of ATAGS, LCH, Brahmos, Astra MK1 and what not. This will provide economies of scale and also this money is also like investing back in our military industrial complex.

Our military budget should also have a provision from now on, simply increasing the defense budget is of no use since most of it is consumed by salaries, pensions, operational expenses, and maintaining the present equipment. The provision should be something like each branch should be located $7-8 billion or if our economy permits $10 billion just to acquire new weapon systems which are made in the country. Some compromises can be made if a certain technology is beyond the reach at the point in time. But without investing in new modern weapon systems, our biradars in our military will always go for emergency purchases at the last moment or fully neglect it like air force.

it just showing a lot of weakness, smaller countries don't even act like this and run to everyone
for permission , and india claims to be the third largest economy.

Proof of Kothastani involvement in Mumbai attacks were physically handed over to USA.

The said proof was later reported as "missing" by the Muttricans much to India's dismay.

No prizes for guessing as to why that happened.

Pakistan is too sweet of a geo-political condom for US/China to abandon.

It is in the interest of these powers to see that there is no major degradation of Pakistan's capabilities.
 
Yesterday's power outage in multiple European countries necessitates the criticality of utilities. With Russia also exclusively targeting Ukrainian power infrastructure - this is a new angle of attack in war. Also Russia/China damaging undersea cables to sever internet access across Baltics / European mainland.

POK power utilities should also be targeted.
Pak has internet landing facilities at Karachi only - again another legitimate target.

Water , power , internet - make the enemy thirsty , blind , incommunicado.

everyone must have had a big laugh afterwards, this lack of leadership is really irritating.
India is not part of any formal alliance so nobody really worries.
