It's the navy that bought it. Lol. IAF would have still been doing trials, the useless bunch that they are.
 
I think we should stop talking about Paki economy.

Inspite of dirt poor condition... they managed to keep their numbers up for conventional deterrence... not just trying to be an equal but surpassed us in some arms. For this they begged or mortgaged their resources or whatever they did... that's their problem.

We being a 4 trillion economy couldn't even keep up the numbers... forget about big ticket items like Fighters, force multipliers, submarines, artillery... we lack even in infantry equipment, MANPADS.

Apart from attack helicopters & maritime reconnaissance aircraft... there's not a single arm in the 3 forces where we are in satisfactory position.

in this case the well was being dug since 23, after rupee-ruble issue got sorted.
contract given in 23, previous batch received middle of last year, another batch received three weeks ago.
another small order given now.

Priorities

Their priority is to do equal-equal and sem2sem at the cost of having a starving, grass eating awaam and a country with a katora living from bheek to bheek.

Our esteemed leedors priority is winning elections and economy-maxxxing at the cost of cutting defense budget, trying schemes like agniveer to cut defense spending and sitting on files for procurement of maal( seems to be changing for now but idk )


Their mindset and priorities is the same of their jihadi goat-shagger conquerors of central asia that they adore

Our mindset is the same as some SEAsian country, where all other countries are also slit eyed pansies who can't wage war, and all countries there are busy dhandho and export maxxxxing, today is not the era of war and all.

It's God's blessing that their ekanami is in the gutter, imagine if they had a 4T sustainable( as in not powered by US aid bheek ) economy.

Hey it's still a upgrade better to buy before war than during war.
Igla S is being opted for because indigenous alt is not available.

gormint PROs have released some info about VSHORADS being fast tracked two days back, to preempt this very sentiment. they are getting better at reading public sentiment.

but realistically, it's better to get VSHORADS thru proper developmental process than a fast tracked process.

Some of the pragmatists here already acknowledged these limitations. We are not invading deep inside the enemy territory. The plan is to break their back. Do an assad on the punjabi pig farmer organization. We will capture some strategic heights, impose a heavy cost on them. Already the punjabi sarkaar is chewing more than they can eat. So, eventually it will collapse. We are accelerating that collapse.
