He is a good person but let me tell you something and this for everyone in the forum.
I used to hate nitin gokhale in the old forum me and
@ezsasa had these long discussions about him lying about the colour of Chinese tents and claiming them as ours. I genuinely had something against that guy back in the day.
Over time i have come to appreciate him and his way of journalism over anything the likes of Aroor and vishnu som have come up with.
Being a journalist is not about getting the first scoop the first titbit or your source being correct it is about reporting what is stated through official channels in a timely manner no matter how behind you are. The goal is to be factual fair and informative.
Aroors claim of saying there were losses on both sides was highly irresponsible especially in times likes these.
Has he given any proof any evidence no? He unfortunately ended up chasing the i was right and you heard it here first bandwagon and that to me shows that he is not yet hit the professionalism a true journalist should have.
In all honesty i blame the culture Indian media has created and how everyone is busy chasing the high of being the first to give the breaking news and not him.
