India as a Superpower is Born
In an ironic twist of history, it was Pakistan that inadvertently offered India the opportunity to emerge as a superpower. The killing of 26 Indian tourists in Kashmir proved to be the turning point. In response, India launched a decisive and overwhelming military retaliation. According to official sources, 89 Indian Air Force aircraft carried out precision strikes, destroying terrorist camps and high-value targets deep within Pakistani territory.
When Pakistan attempted to retaliate two days later, the operation ended in complete failure. It deployed over 500 Chinese-made commercial drones, intending to breach Indian airspace, deliver explosive payloads, and pave the way for a larger offensive on Indian military installations. The drones failed to penetrate India’s air defences, and the Pakistani Air Force (PAF) similarly failed to deliver effective strikes with bombs and missiles. PAF shooting down 5 Indian planes was fool hardy. Only Pakistanis and paid western media believed it.
What Went Wrong?
The Chinese-made drone hardware failed under pressure, and India’s robust, layered air defence system—comprising Russian, Israeli, and indigenous technologies—intercepted the attack with precision. The PAF’s bombs and missiles missed their targets, and in a desperate escalation, Pakistan fired Chinese PL-15 long-range air-to-air missiles at India. These, too, failed—three were recovered intact, unexploded. Once again, Chinese hardware proved unreliable.
The result: a decisive aerial defeat for Pakistan and a historic demonstration of India’s air defence capabilities.
India Ascends
This confrontation has catalyzed India’s rise. With a booming economy, expanding strategic partnerships, and growing influence across the Indian Ocean, India is now positioned as a true global power. The failure of Pakistan’s aggression and the superiority of India’s defence systems signal a shift in regional power dynamics. China, long resistant to India’s rise, must now contend with a more assertive and capable India.
India owes an unintended thanks to Pakistan—it has, through its miscalculation, helped shape the emergence of a superpower.
It is now India’s moment to press for a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council. The world should take notice.
