I will only say this that the current Indian government is well capable of playing down further escalation by Pakistan if there is a chance of ceasefire being maintained somewhat. I won't be surprised if we don't answer back at some point of time to Pak attack just so that normalcy can return and things can go on as they have been. All in this, Pak will go claiming victory.

After having such a good performance by our armed forces, topji should have simply asked forces to destroy Pakistani air and naval assets in span of let's say 3 days as much as they can and then stop claiming we want PeaCE. Do not let try them recover.

Climbing down from such a good position of superiority currently is simply a huge let down.

Just saying that dominance could have been shown by blasting some 50-100 planes of Pak rather than some symbolic limited attacks on their bases. Destruction of enemy airstrips should have been ideally followed by blasting their hangars to 72 hoors.

I don't think that's a possibility, nobody can be that stupid to believe nukes can be used with 2 days of low intensity skirmish with no threat to territory.

Also very important to note that escalation was never the intention since day 1, the MEA FS and AF officers literally repeated every since time they did not seek escalation or even a clash with Pak Army.
