Yesterday, one member here was advocating 500 squadrons of aircrafts in Indian air force inventory made my head spin. Even with all transport aircrafts included it comes to 9,000 aircrafts. What are you going to do with 9,000 aircrafts? Conquer the world and Mars? Even the US doesn't have that many aircrafts.

For your information, 1 squadron = 18 aircrafts in IAF. We bought 36 Rafales which is 2 squadrons. Look I know what you are hinting at. We are all alone in this fight to save civilization. I agree. We need massive air power to deter our enemies. If it comes to 2 front war we definitely need more aircrafts. All points I whole heartedly agree. However, the more aircrafts you induct the more infrastructure is needed to house them, maintain them, more skilled pilots required to fly them, and of course more operational expenses in the form of fuel.

At this point in time IAF is asking for 42 squadrons to fight a 2 front war at the bare minimum that is 756 combat aircrafts. I will only focus on combat aircraft for this argument. First, we need our very own bloody Jet Engine to churn out huge number of aircrafts. Without it, it will just be a dream. If we get our own engine in near future, then IAF should change 1 squadron = 20 aircrafts. With this we can churn out 50 squadrons that is 1,000 single engine fighter like Tejas MK2 which will take care of Western front. And another 50 squadrons of 4.5 and 5th generation twin engine aircrafts which again comes to 1,000 aircrafts. So our total combat aircraft strength will be 2,000 aircrafts. This will be more than enough for a 2 front war. We will have serious fire power at our disposal since we also possess deadly A2A, A2G missiles now.
 
Modi government can not handle economy and diplomacy. They are big failures in these forte. They need to re look into themselves .

But having said that we will still vote for Modi govt because we have all namak garam pseudo intellect who would like to see turn to ashes for their own personal gains.

We realise this every time porkistan quote these bustards. They should be taken away all the previlage they hold.

Not all political leaders are good or bad in every party. But the chiefs of bjp know how to handle these mindless uneducated jahil gawae. Rest nobody has any control .

Indian Economy was about to collapse with NPA by the time Modi took up the helm, India was in Fragile Five(by 2012 a new term coined for India, part of nations who can economically can tremble any moment now)

Banks were so deep in trouble by corrupt policies of congoons they were not able to perform the base function of circulating finance to productive sectors.

Its almost a wonder Modi Govt stabilised the economy brought investments to manufacturing sector, brought transformation to Infrastructure

and despite COVID Indian economy is as stable as it could be.

Diplomacy you say, because of this diplomacy today India is respected as a rival as a competition and as assertive nation thats why u dont see any fear of sanctions any fear of isolation despite India bringing cheap oil from Russia, weapon system JVs and import and exports with Israel and a nation which western anglo saxons cant put down…

so u dont know anything other that some economic titles u picked up from chatgpt
