I don't think they were getting anything that could have changed the things in some dramatic way, in the scenario where we had continued to pummel pakis. Pakistan doesn't have the capacity to escalate the conflict by hitting indian military locations, then know fauji foundation will be fucked.based on what he is saying, there is equal chance that pakis were getting live inputs from pentagon as well during that particular phone call. based on what is in public so far, chini haven't shown any interest publicly in stopping this escalation, muricans did.

What India achieved in Op Sindoor is even more impressive. It was taking on 3 adversaries, Pakistan, China and Turkey.
I hope some country out there helped India in some way, or was ready to.

Was interesting to hear, if Kiriakou is saying it - it's not completely baseless. Also somewhat matches what Hellfire has been saying, "The nukes were never theirs/won't be in their control"
Operation Sindoor shattered the myth I had about Pakistan Air Force and its air defence systems. I always knew they were weak, but the fact that 11 Pakistani airbases were targeted was beyond anything I ever imagined. Even during the 1971 war, Indian Air Force didn’t strike this deep inside Pakistan. What India achieved in Op Sindoor is even more impressive. We can still hold off 2-3 fronts if we change our ways.
From "we will fight with what we have" to "we will mass produce what we can"... fuck ROE/Escalation ladder.
Years have been wasted on import decisions.
But nobody highlights that at the cost of two squadron worth of imported fighter jets... entire Indian Artillery can be modernized with induction of 3000+ 155/52 guns of different types.
While the endless wait for jets continue... we should move the Iranian way... missiles plus loitering munitions in tens of thousands.
Maybe we have a 1500+ brahmos of all types... still less... build 1500 more... manufacture the pralay missile in thousands... induct dozens of regiments of long range/guided pinaka.
Modernize the infantry gear & communications to match global standards.
By massive buildup in these and some other areas we can compensate for lack of Airpower.
Just mass produce everything that we can and we will hold the 2/3 fronts to a stalemate no matter how bloody it will get.
When it comes to requirements of army... we produce every damn thing here... so why such precarious state of the force... whose thinking/planning is responsible?
Similar thing happened to me. OP. Sindoor updated my software, atleast. Earlier i was much more circumspect but now i am more favorable to a kinetic option.Operation Sindoor shattered the myth I had about Pakistan Air Force and its air defence systems. Pakistan military collapsed like a pack of cards in just two days—on the 9th and 10th of May. I was genuinely shocked, even Hamas didn’t fall this quickly against Israel. And what’s more surprising is that it was only the air force in action—neither the navy nor the army were involved—yet they still couldn’t hold their ground.Similar thing happened to me. OP. OP. Sindoor exposed fragility of pakistani army. I was worried about their PAF too. But ourchanged the game. Our AD stood like a wall. Porkies looked like a chained pitbull getting beaten left and right.
My new assessment is porkies are now reduced to one or two successful strikes. It will be too little to actually damage our assets. But we on another hand, will rollover their whole military infrastructure. So, the odds are in India's favor now. No amount of propping up will work now for porkies. They are sitting duck.
