My understanding is from history of countries like China, Singapore, Japan. They all had Leaders/State heads who knows what needed to push the country to an developed state. Those State leaders were not globe wielding economist, they are people with common sense.
Bajapa for all its idiotism. Still working on getting various industries which in turn bring economic prosperity to the People and the region. The journey is tough and slow but at least in right direction. Good thing is they don't need to deal with someone like Rajan, who if any Industry ministry, Niti Aayog if consult, he will blabber service industry is fine saar.
Decades back states like Bihar will be in perennial socialism chooran, today establishing low skill works like Garments, Shoes,bag manufacturing etc. May be not game changing, but the direction is correct.
