There is normally a +-10% tolerance. It is present in RFP for small arms as well as Light Tank and some others as well. So ideally the tolerance should be present in VSHORAD RFQ also

30km range with 14km flight ceiling of Akash Ng seems outrageously low. Siper Block-2 from the mehmets has a 30km flight ceiling and 150km operational range. What am I missing? Either DRDO royally messed up its development, or they are not telling the full picture. Akash-Ng looks to be the anomaly, other SAMs with that profile have similar range/flight ceiling as the Siper

It could very well be User's requirement is of 30km onlee and so that is what is stated

Could also be due to a potential non-compete clause in MRSAM development contract with IAI.
I remember initially the range of 70-80km was floating around for Akash-NG.
