Probably fired at Dmax range where it can run outta energy/fuel. The hit probability is also the lowest if the target maneuvers or deploys countermeasures.

Guys we can say confidently, there is no Rafale crash. Evidence:

1. we have tacit confirmation from Martin baker- the ejection seat makers for Rafale and others, who have an automatic update system each time an ejection seat is activated or destroyed. Martin Baker put up tweet confirming FA-18 crash just 2 days ago, no update for rafale crash.
If Martin baker, a british company, is reporting USAF losses, they wont sit silent on IAF losses magically.

2. Rafale 'crash proof' shown is a SINGLE engine. Rafale is a twin engine jet. Every single twin engine jet crash in HISTORY has both engines at crash site - engines cannot fall out of the airframe. EVER. you literally cannot make an engine pop out of an air-frame mid-flight. its literally the fundamental weight distribution mating to the frame and if plane is destroyed, BOTH engines are ALWAYS present in crash site. You need to literally break laws of physics to have one engine of a twin engine plane crash be present at the crash site and no sign of the 2nd engine.
