I would like to update you that the Burmese Army has lost control over much of the Rakhine state which borders Bangladesh.

Myanmar has almost lost control over 85% of its territory and the country's eventual disintegration looks a very real possibility. The repercussions of it on India will be severe.

India needs to know who the different rebels/ oppositional groups are, and what the impact of them attaining power at the centre or in any large area, will be. There is little hostility to India in Myanmar, apart from a bit of resentment that India dealt closely with the military junta for the last 3 decades. But China particularly and a couple of other countries would be far more affected by this type of popular sentiment, than India. Close monitoring of developments is needed.
 
Myanmar will be balkanising soon, army is losing ground day by day.
It's a great chance to integrate arakan army into India ( using negotiation), it will give north east port access and reduce the dependency on kanglus

Traditional Arakan state does not borders India and whatever little it does is inaccessible due to mountains and hilly terrain.
You would have to further put up with chin kuki state to keep a port connection.
Beside that specific state would demand special privilege like 370 and would set a bad precedent for the entire NE.

~ 6 tons of Amphetamine worth an estimated 36,000 crores seized off the ANC with 6 Myanmarese crew of the boat arrested. While this contraband wasn't thought to be destined for India , if we take note of seizures from both the west & east coast in the past 4-5 years it'd easily cross 1 lakh crores.

This is to give you an idea of the amounts involved in narcotics smuggling especially narco terrorism . Besides we're right in the middle of 2 of the world's biggest drug producing hot spots - the golden triangle to our east / south east & the golden crescent to our west / north west.

They were using Starlink. Extremely concerning news!

Smugglers caught with 6,000 kg meth used Elon Musk's Starlink to navigate

"On November 23, the Indian Coast Guard apprehended six Myanmarese smugglers who were transporting 6,000 kg of methamphetamine, worth Rs 36,000 crore, in a fishing trawler. We seized several items from the trawler, including Myanmar currency, a portable Inmarsat satellite mobile, SIM cards from multiple countries, and notably, a dish from SpaceX's Starlink mini version," Andaman and Nicobar Islands DGP Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal told news agency PTI.

This is the first time in India that we've encountered smugglers using Starlink for high-speed internet connectivity to navigate through rough seas and remote regions. We've confirmed that Starlink isn't available in Myanmar, but it is available in nearby countries like Indonesia, Australia, and Thailand.

So , 80% of the Rakhine State is now under the control of the Arakan Army according to Praveen Swami & what's more the CCP has decided "to throw in its lot " with the Tatmadaw.

Just make a deal and integrate them with India
They have direct access to mizoram, it will permanently solve chicken neck issue and will also make blockade of kanglus easy
