I read through most of it. Most Indians with a passion for defence intuitively reach the above conclusions after a few years, though it's good to see a book formally spell them out like so.

The real division among Hindus is between those who understand the above realities and those who don't. I would extend that division to the understanding of the domestic situation, which has very little difference to the psychological state across the border.
