Chinese illegal immigrants making the journey to the US while we're being told everyday out here that China's already on the verge of closing the technology gap with the west & what's more it's economy & mfg is registering unparalleled growth.

Hmm. Wonder why did all those Chinese make such a dangerous trip then paying upwards of 30,000 USD to cartels to get them into the US then ?

2 millennia & China's yet to shed the religion , traditions & culture of India . If anything there seems to be a mini revival. I can't think of a single Indian in contemporary India who sings Chinese opera or practises a Chinese traditional dance.

However there are a lot of takers for Chinese kung fu which as you know was brought to China by Bodhidharma or 达摩 who introduced it to the monks in Shaolin monastery who then spread it throughout China. @rockdog
