Because HAL is not the sole source for this components, so if the somponents are not QC approved it's the HAL problem and because in the 110kN engine move it is important to give some good gesture to indian govt.

So , as per you , SAFRAN is spending millions of Euros on material it won't use , just as a good will gesture.

It's the first time I'm coming across an incident where highly classified technology which is NEVER shared is not only being shared but incentives are being provided by the seller & not the buyer . You're indeed insulting your own intelligence.

However , that "goodwill gesture" as you put it has already been extended . Aren't you aware ?

Small Arms easily should be the ones that should have been indigenized. The argument of subpar OFB is long gone. There are now private players on par with best vendors out there.

I really can understand with Missiles or Jets being imported. But small arms not indigenized even after Galwan is like extremely disgusting behaviour.

There is not even a roadmap or plan in the long run. How will they even fight a war without even something as basic as small arms?

That's one fooking reason why I wish a total arms embargo on India like the chinkoids had post Tiananmen regime change op.

Unless such defence related embargo is put on India, dumbheads will continue to do 🪛 or beg for imports.
