Blackhawk is definitely not the first helicopter Sikorsky, let alone USA designed? But still in almost 5,000 or so produced there's record of close to 400 incidents with almost 1,000 fatalities.

I also think the same but the service period is very less of dhruv..
Anyways first Helo so yeah.
Blackhawks have very long service period they are still in service will remain for a longer period.
We need to achieve something similar we're in initial Blackhawk days ig.

DRDO did, they publish real range with nearly everything else, why would they hide the range only in this particular case.
Eg. They published real range of Astra Mk 1, they published real range of Astra Mk 3, they even did it with QRSAM.
If DRDO mentions real ranges of everything else why would they lie only in this particular case.
Either the solid rocket motors used in Akash NG are really shitty or the range is being artificially capped.
My conspiracy theory is that Yahoodi lobby felt threatened that their MRSAM sales could plummet so they did what lobbies do best sabotage the program with the help of Armed Forces, nothing else explains the reason as to why the same DRDO who used to mention the range to be 80km, now says Akash NG has a range of just 30 km.
