DRDO and PSU's

Brahmos ng will have much more export potential as it is compact and light weight with 350 km range considering brahmos 1 export varient which range is intentionally reduced to 290 km from 900 km you can fire brahmos ng air launched from almost all of the aircraft including Tejas mk1a
BrahMos-NG would have been a game changer missile for export market as it would had no contemporary. It'd had sold like hot cakes, it may sound bit of an stretch but even US would've wished to procure it from us for internal carry in F-35s given it was offered at relatively cheaper price than their local MIC and with no Russian strings attached...
only if BrahMos Aerospace would have offered that by 2010 or 15.
Infact yesterday only I ranted on exactly this topic
In fact BrahMos-NG in itself is an utterly baffling topic for me.
Time is the key in VUCA environment. The time we wasted doing nothing much, people were working on their BrahMos-NGs.

Even if BrahMos Aerospace starts work from next Monday, countries like China, Taiwan or SoKo would come up with it earlier.

1% failure rate sounds decent but when talking about numbers like 10 lakhs the failure looks big, is that a industry standard failure rate for such grenades?
