These Jurnails think common man is stupid. This jurnail didn't tell viewers that being 25% heavy ATAGS also offer 25% higher range compared to ATHOS.
Also, a viewer asked if army needs lighter gun to shoot and scoot, Jurnail said "no, arty on mountains digs deep and doesn't move."

SO WOULDN'T IT BE SENSIBLE TO ORDER 20-25T towing truck(already in pipeline ig) and permanently settle the ATAGS with higher range. Still these Jurnails somehow...

No wonder ATAGS guns are in limbo when you have these type of people in higher ups.
Here Yogi type of man is really required in defense establishment.

One has to come and cleanup this mess once and for all otherwise JEET CHUKE HUM next war.

Another thing how he blame government
Gov has decided not to buy light gun for whatever reasons.
Gov can spend this huge amount imported guns.
They just want to keep importing things

Foreign generals and officers used to be hired to lead current armies, train grunts and train native officers.

We must go back to this time-honored best-practice considering current Genrols seem to have a laser-focus on doing Dalali and not their job

M777 deal could not be concluded by 2013 because of disagreements over offsets that GoI was asking for at that time. entire procurement process was a mess anyways during those UPA years. new gormint came in and closed the deal.
