yup, and especially the phase the world seems to be entering for next few decades. for us it will be a case of rude awakening after rude awakening every few years, because adversaries will not be hitting us at our strengths, they will be exploiting areas which they think are our weakness.

at this point in time, we don't even know if the next one is going to be conventional military conflict or something else entirely.

IWI will never give this 100% ToT to anyone lol. 100% ToT is the scam and no western companies will going to give it to us after they done the same with China.

Adani products were basically IWI utilizing India as an Manufacturing hub, It helps to remain competitive and achieve scale for them and Adani earn money. Also Adani till now is an system integrator, they work with DRDO for UPTGM and Gaurav bombs. Works with IWI for weapons like Guns, Drones.

This Artillery bullshit needs to be stopped, We developed all the platforms required.
Towed ones 155mm - Dhanush, ATAGS is there and passed trials of IA.
Self Propelled ones - TC20 (155mm 39 Cal), MGS, Vajra (Tracked).
Small guns - Gauda v2 (105) and OFB 105mm
ULH - Bharat forge already have the product. Mahindra already have the BAE ULH.

If we need an another track variant. We have guns and we have chassis of T72, T90 and Arjun MK1A. Just modify it and develop the project.


Even today we still collaborate for an product to bring the same nonsense again.

The moog actuators was a cse of corruption for sure.
Despite having indigeneous alternatives they aren't even testing it.
These were ready almost 10 years ago there was no issue in Integrating them in Tejas mk1A there was enough time. If not for first 83 then atleast for next 97 they should do it. But they aren't doing it.

The moog corporation is caught many times lobbing in usa. It would be so easy for them to kill indigeneous alternatives.
The fact that indigeneous alternatives would have costed 25% of imported ones.

We aren't focusing on indigenising our products there is no issues in indigenising component other than engine in our fighter aircrafts. Apart from engine,ew, ejection seat of Tejas most of the things could have been indigenised today.
I hope they try indigenising more subsystem in 97 Tejas mk1As apart from seat & engine.

This actuators aren't certified which means Tejas mk2 is having moog actuators. And so the AMCA & tedbf would. This is the impact of such a mistake
Hal didn't even put them on Tejas to certify them.
How dirty our system is the armed forces don't want to buy indi systems nor the makers are indigenising it.

I always felt Tejas could have been indigeneous alot more given India's industrial capacity.
The current Tejas has just 59% indi content.
They said it will be 65% in future as ew and some other systems would be replaced with indi alternatives.
This can go even high.

The condition of achieving 100% indigenous systems in our future aircraft need to put excluding propulsion.

if we aren't certifying/producing such simple system in aircraft which was meant to Establish ecosystem in india then it would take its time in future aircraft.
