DRDO and PSU's

Some of the stuff that we have most people will only know about if we get into a very desperate situation in a major war. Otherwise very existence of these technologies and weaponry will be rejected vehemently.

One example.

ADA used two GPS-INS systems in Tejas mk2 for navigation. One is the main unit while other serves as standby in case the main unit malfunctions. This G3INS has already been flight tested and cleared for installation on Tejas mk2.

Late last year ADA had issued a tender for 4 nos of LRU, ie two sets. Delivery should start

Delivery schedule is 12 months from the date of placement of contract .

Now you will get an idea about the rollout date of the first prototype.
