Apache and mq9b aren't any next gen platforms which will make the enemy shiver. Prachand and drdo hale are pretty much same, we have the sensor suite too. Just buy those man, pure idiots filled in central secretariat

Why do you need Apaches to fight in Leh? We'll be operating 171 LCH Prachand specifically designed for high altitude warfare in Ladakh. Apaches were procured to take-on pakistani armoured columns and it can do it's job very well. All 28 of them alone can carry 448 AGM-114 Hellfire ATGMs together.

C-17 production went off, and C-130/Chinooks are expensive, but Chinooks might be bought in larger numbers.

Its just that they already operate 145 Attack helicopters, half of them are heavy Apaches and it makes more sense for them to buy Armed drones as they make them in house while they import Apaches. Both are mutually exclusive.

HALE/MALE drones are easier to shoot down. Houthis have shot down 7 of the Reapers since March.
