dont tell me tumhre yaha koi bhi muh utha ke stadium me khelne chale jaata hai😂. yes, i mean every sports ke participation (district/state level entry) ke liye apko us sports ki membership leni padti hai nd uske baad hi aap sports complex nd stadium me play kr sakte hai. now tell me apke city me kitne children or young ones in sports me membership lete hai?? i think not more then some thousand in a city. thats why i m saying we r choosing players from a small fraction of our population. bachpan se kisi child ko develop krna, ye to or bhi chota portion hai humare population ka.

there are positives of nehruvian socialism as well, it laid a good foundation for economic redistribution. it was not efficiently implemented, but it ended up creating a foundation.

usually redistribution is taken up by nations after they become rich, in India's case it was taken up right from the beginning.
I think it laid the wrong foundations. The proof is in the direction taken by IG and our forced liberalization. It actually led to usurping of private wealth. It turned wealth into a sin.

Redistribution was an excuse to sell collective bargain via castes from state. It made socialism palpable. But thats not how it worked.

I posted how NIF worked:
1. Secularism: Kills Civilizational Identity as primary identity. Rehabilitate Moslems as another social group.
2. Socialism: State monopoly over resources. Contrary to its meaning, in NIF, it meant just state control over resources.
3. Social Justice: Recognizes caste as the social collective bargainer. Reinforces Moslems as another social group.

Redistribution was necessary because state was usurping private wealth. The channel was a collective bargaining mostly ;via caste/category blocks.

Thats why PM MMS can claim minorities having first right over resources. Because in his eyes. All resources vests with state and state redistributes them to maximize social justice.
Thats why ultimately every scheme by Congress generally has caste angle. Because they are doing social justice.

So, redistribution is infact rooted in SJ in NIF. Redistribution thus stems not from socialism but from social justice. This is why we see unexpected outcomes and we believe it was implementation failure. It was not. It worked perfectly.

NIF was designed with one objective. To keep a dynasty in power in a democratic environment. It was Nehru's own Dictator's playbook.

From your thread, SP/RJD Leadership is >Yaduvanshi

Wait the UP/Bihar Yadavs are sem2sem as Krishna's tribe?
I thought they were a different tribe with "Yadav" name and so they started attaching their tribe to Krishna's Yadav tribe for obvious reasons.

But they actually are that same tribe?
Well, I went with their claim. It would not have mattered if they were from Krishna's own tribe. Akhilesh threw out his own uncle and papa from party.

If moslems ask Akhilesh can do even worse things for power.

Ching also built scale of solar panel export first then started Chinkufying the rest of the supply chain gradually including the machines.
They are now playing in chip business too. They are creating the whole ecosystem domestically. ASML is tough cookie to replace but they are within range. They are just a few generations behind. They can cover the gap in next 10 years.

Eastern freight corridor is already complete.

Western corridor is 95% complete with only Vaitarna to JNPT stretch remaining. Deadline to complete ti sis Dec,2025 but may be completed 1 month earlier too.

EDFC final stretch is still there, Sonnagar to Dankuni was in limbo. Initially started as PPP mode, but no takers. Looks like now DFCCIL is doing the work. SSC West Bengal Rail Forum have some recent information where the route plans were posted there.

West Bengal needs one big port. Tajpur Port started with Adani now WB Government is in clueless mode.

i was applying survivorship bias theory when writing that post, we focus on what happened because of congi socialism and known information there of. but what is not focussed on is, what didn't happen.

the other day i was watching some YT video that algo recommended, reminded me of days when i was living in navi mumbai. mumbai at night was safe 25 years ago, still safe now.

how many financial capitals around the world, can a man walk around on city streets at 3 AM unharmed !!!
i would guess not many. we can make an argument of culture being the reason etc.
another factor could be, if economic redistribution was a failure there would be plenty of crime on the streets.

Well, The stadium is public access here where i live. Its the coaches who charge for their service which is fine.

In morning or evening we have three kinds of people in the stadium near me:
1. People Training under a coach
2. Friends playing in teams
3. Common folks who came for a walk or talk.

This is also true for any big ground or park near me.

later they get fund nd imporve that ground. they grow grass on field to play cricket, hockey nd football. they even stalled light to play in night now. so it become only for those players, who hv membership in sports.

Are we sure that first Indian made computer chip is coming out commercially before the end of the year.

Also, the Indian built AI software comparable to AI open and Chinese brand will come out before the end of the year.

Both of these will add to India’s international prestige. Should be done on an urgent basis.

I always heard that Mumbai is one of cities where even Women can spend some time at late night. Honestly, Mumbai can fix their issues like poor roads if they use the money sensibly.

Personally, I want to buy an house in Mumbai. But my mother is outright against it.

Do I have money? NO

But I will try

I will say it sent me on a long tangent. It is exactly the enquiry which i hope to engender. Three S in NIF are like macro parameters and from them we try to derive the problems they recognize and the solutions they accept. They should work in tandem.

I think we can't apply NIF here exactly. The context is entirely different. In west money decides social, status, economic weight, political influence and ultimately personal fulfilment. In India it doesn't much. So, crimes like mugging which are personal in nature also do not coincide with class crimes. In west personal and class motivations nearly overlap. So, class and personal crimes are coincident. So, I will say its mostly cultural. Than again we also overall have less crimes per capita.

Now, If we turn our gaze from personal to class motivated crimes. I see a definite increase in tension between caste groups. Polity is much more condensed around caste today. So, I will say the redistribution of NIF actually aggravated the situation more.

Its just different wars different playground. I will not say NIF's socialism made Mumbai more safer. Even in India there is a difference between Delhi and Mumbai Culture. I remember my first days in MH. I was amazed to see people don't giving a fuss to minor vehicle bumps. A sorry and it was settled. In HR even a wrong overtake may sometime lead to a broken skull.

I will though recognize NIF's socialism in cutting down the massive estates of some families. They would have certainly distorted our economy. But than we can use another framework to solve the same problem with a different solution and different evolution. I also tried to propose a new framework as a replacement of NIF in form of Modified Indian Perspective or New Indian Outlook. The main essence between these two is in NIF we carve a voting block aka a caste group. In NIO/MIP we promote Private Agency.

My town has atleast two stadiums. In my close vicinity i have two large grounds in a college and a police line. I live in a HSVP colony. So pretty good number of parks too. A few empty designated sites serve as grounds too.
They all are public infrastructure. So, all are freely accessible.

A stadium nearest to me is used by a few trainers who train the "bharti aspirants".

I don't know if the economy thread is the right place to post it or not but on reddit I keep hearing these arguments that India is collapsing, India is a failed state but the irony of these statements is that the most opportune moment for collapse was right after independence when we had no state resources 1753040554641.webp
Arguably during the 80s when we were going through bankruptcy due to the continued failed economic policies of that time and the riots was another time where we could have collapsed as an nation.

but saying these things in the current times when we are the 4th largest economy and an healthy growth rate is crazy. In almost all of reddit and X there is just constant doomerism.

I was reading the above threads and as someone from the generation who grew up in the early 2000s it does feel like until 2011 there was a constant upliftment and positive outlook about our future. Now this is obviously nostalgia glasses as we were protected kids at that time with our parents having secure private sector jobs in the metros.

Reddit sadly has fallen to the same left echo chamber reactions of the world is a terrible place and India is akin to a failed state where nothing good is happening

It is not that deep. The avg (((Indian))) redditor does not reside in India. Their opinions do not matter.

Also, the right leaning Indian subreddits got banned/became inactive after covid. Plebbit was not this unhinged before.
