Rail bhavan dont know how to operate passenger service.
piejaan it was the first prototype, learning would be applied for the production model, this is first of a kind ie a sleeper trainset which will travel for long distances and that too overnight. first prototypes never enter production, dont expect to see vande bharat sleeper in service this year, the testing will be rigorous, things will be added and subtracted, like this prototype has 2 washrooms, enough for chaircar version but in sleeper subbarao said 3rd washroom will be added and many more improvements. also they are working simultaneously on 20 coach vande bharat sleeper.

so have patience, you will see this in service on ndls mmct or ndls hwh.

In a significant upgrade to railway infrastructure, a 208 km strech btw Patna and Varanaasi DDU has been cleared for 130 kmph operations. THis is crucial part which sees heavy movement fo trains Del - Kolkata

More such upgrades are coming till 2025 end, where it will see 160 kmph for Del - Mum and Del - Kolkata corridors.
Mumbai Ahmedabad is already at 160, but some parts still await kavach installation, most probably within 2-3 months the stretch can operate at 160, but idts railways will allow due to the previous accidents, ndls agra still is capped

Correct. However, I think they will start 160 kmph approvals only from Dec,2025 onwards in bulk, both for Del- Mum and Del - Kolkata. Kavach installation is the biggest roadblock as it takes a lot of time to make it Kavach compliant.

access control in mumbai local would take remodelling of stations, demoltion and bombing of slums near to the line.

automatic doors failed in front of the spirit of muh mumbai muh jaan. ashwini vaishnav said that headway will be reduced with kavach 5.0 which is specifically for mumbai suburban.
crowds should reduce with metro but that will take time. bus is also not properly managed.

and cr constantly neglects harbour-trans harbour line as if its a step child whereas its one of the first lines of mumbai. sandhurst road station steel columns are from end 1890s-1900s. harbour line got ac local for a few months then taken back. harbour line till last year operated vintage jessop rakes on trans harbour which got transfered to uran line now. harbour line doesnt have a single bombardier/medha rake.

Not necessarily? Only the busiest stations need to be taken care of. The rest can remain as it is.

Like the IR can pick 50 stations and redevelop them in phase 1. Then 50 more in phase 2. And so on.

each and every station is busy on central and western line atleast.

About ~60 odd stations? Add 40 more stations and make it 100 - redevelop them and the traveling experience would improve significantly. The rest can be ignored, for now.

Either way, it is up to the IR to determine the nitty gritty of the project so no point speculating here.
