drew AK 203 with furniture , looks cool ngl

The lowest I've heard is the one form a local firm called TACTIX. In fact they have actually supplied army with some and the price per kit was ₹14,876.
I'm bit sceptical on how they managed such price but ya, mathematically it's the lowest.

As for upper end, you can easily end up beyond $750 with high quality accesories.

Not really furniture but I have these images for a while now that’s why posting them.

No matter how many accessory you slap on that thing, I'd never get the hype of AK-203 among Indian fanbois.

Jinke baap daada kabi FN FAL chalate the, wo aaj AK dekh kar pagal ho rahein hain.
Malaal...

+1
I have asked from someone who has used fn fal and they tell how overpowered it was

The barrel is kinda bugging me as well!
The barrel in itself is fine, the problem is that Chinese airsoft scope. It's so long that it'll interfere with the barrel handle when you'll try to unlock it for barrel removal.

The bigger problem here is that you can't put lipstick on a pig. FN MAG has already reached the highest potential of upgrade possible and now it's just a technological plateau from here. This is the only reason why SIG Sauer and IWI and FN Herstal, everyone started with a clean slate disign for the MAG successor.

Forgot to add I would absolutely remove that shit and put an elcan on top.
Also the barrel has a Handel, so maybe the actual product will feature
It could be that the barrel handle does not go all the way to 12 o clock, and can be pulled backwards to slide the barrel in order to change it.

Or may be, they didn't even bother to consider things like whether you can remove the barrel or not, cheek rise, eye relief on such scope, absolute tiny field of view on an area weapon and just slapped the most "hi-tech looking" thing to give it an impression of advanced...aise hi, sexy lagg raha tha

As I've always said, unless you get a true defence nerd in manufacturing you'd never get high quality product. This the same with LML too. Just go through this poster
khh.png"Lightweight and Reliable" and also "Robust and Reliable". Pins being captive is such a big thing that it needs to be mentioned.
And what the heck is a "Double Pull Precision Trigger? I've heard everything from single action, double action, single stage, two stage, set, hair, hammer, striker...what's this!?

what does asmi's timeline look like, which year first news came out that it was being developed, first display etc. ?

I am also interested in the chronology.

Also were DPSUs involved in any level of development/manufacturing? or was it literally just Lt Col Bansod and this Lokesh Machine Tools?.

Wonder if making them responsible for their own gear is the antidote to the current merry go round of contrived specifications -> trials -> more feature demand -> fails trials because of contrived specs -> more trials -> new spec compliant to foreign maal specs

Only these 2 that I know of.
I feel that the system of 60:40 ratio might be followed with 60 in favour the L1 bidder and 40 to the L2 at the same price quoted by L1 like the ATAGs program or the 2 parties have freedom to bid on their own, we’ll probably find out much later.
But in ATAGS case both offer something different, right? Here the situation is more like that naval contract where L&T was L2 and some L1 PSU got the order and then L&T was the one actually manufacturing it.

Btw we now have a fully functional
ASMI-C
.

It wasn't Tactix but Jai Durga Engineering. Tactix just went down the rabbit hole with JDE, but at last even they surrendered. 14k for the things in the tender was in no way a break even cost.
