North India despite being more vegetarian has higher average Protein Intake than South and North-East.
There is too much fear mongering about Vegetarian food these days.

1 Plate of rice -> ~6 to 8 gm protein
1 Bowl curd/raite -> ~5 to 8gm protein
1 bowl of Daal ->
  • Moong dal: ~12g
  • Urad dal: ~10g
  • Chana dal: ~14g

Now have this mean twice of thrice, you will easily have your daily quota of protein and add to it glass of milk once or twice or chacch/mattha.
Also vegetarians is a vague category that includes Eggetarians also in usual conversations

Can't they get actual comtacs instead of those?

Or does the para sf's really doesn't care about active hearing protection and the feature to amplify low sound enhancing situational awareness?
Thanks for telling me you haven't used headphones for more than 3 hours

Thatswhy i said we buy Renault Sherpa worth 5 cr after paying all duties…in 5 cr you could buy soo many Ballistic computers and for 10-15 lacs a month you could get a top Yankee instructor to train with.

China does this shit..what are we waiting for.

When news called us “barbaric,” we laughed. It’s easy to judge from a heated room. Out there, on a ridge, pipes sometimes saved lives that bullets would have destroyed. Instead of escalations, the pipes restrained. It could be more terrifying than firearms—less distance, more sweat, a testing of guts and character in full view of your squad-mates.

We pass down not just discipline, but rules of survival, of sanity: Don’t escalate. Don’t freeze. If you can, try to see the human being under the helmet—sometimes that saves your life, too. We learned restraint the hardest way—face-to-face, stone for stone, pipe for pipe. The lesson: peace is sometimes held by calloused hands willing not to press the trigger. The martyrs’ bridges on Highway 219 are our keepers. Each name isn’t just a loss; it’s a reminder of ‘how far not to go,’ of pride and caution, cost and value.
