Never said anything about how many kills one have or not, I did express disagreement with Maj and his little minions here but never ever wrote this line 'he has no kills and all he did was courses so he can't talk about SF'. People here are a little butthurt that how someone can disagree with their barbie world, they can surely call names and whatever they want but everything should well within the rules of this forum. Good thing that you reminded me reply to "deleted post", first of all if I deleted any of your posts where you were were using civil language then plz tell the admin to check that and take action.
Secondly I deleted my own posts which I found contained more info which brains of you two can't process, so to end the argument I just backed off and deleted my posts.

On one hand we have to uphold freedom of speech on the other hand I do have to attend to members concerns.

Calling a member and a formrer veteran ungrateful certainly feels wrong but I am not keeping up with the SF thread to get the context.

@COLDHEARTED AVIATOR Arad isn't using cuss words or doing personal attacks so far so I would need more input from Arad and other members here.

@Arad Operator I think you are a service member yourself and you have a right to opinion but calling a former veteran and a peer "ungrateful" carries a lot of weight, do you think that word was still justified?

You guys are esteemed members here so I would like you guys to talk it out and come to a concensus with mutual agreement and acknowledgement.

The point you make about SG and its efficiency i was making in 2014 when your grammar was as bad as now.



I in 2013 in PDF told Abingdonboy about how SPG moves their cars.

In PDF i disclosed that Indian army revenged beheadings of 2012..A fucking Newspaper copied and took my post info…those on PDF at that time will remember.

Never did personal attacks on anyone but same can't be said about the opposition here.

I am not related to armed forces in anyway and certainly not a kid of some senior ranking general.

The original post was a bit longer, nothing was censored, everything I wrote I made sure was in public domain already. I dont know why you censored Jocko Willink's rank also. I was telling the similaries in which MARCOS & SEALs operate when they're reployed under someone else's command. In Kashmir MARCOS are under RR, in Ramadi, Task Unit Brusier were under Marines

I'm not sure someone whose assasinated is referred to as KIA but leaving that behind Lt Gen PC Katoch in his book stated the idea was to convert 1 Para into a CT unit...Col AK Anand also stated NSG & MARCOS when were established it was 1 Para who trained them in 1...
However...Lt Gen PC Katoch also states that parallelly as 1 was doing it's comvertion to a counter terrorism unit, the SG was also created for the same thing. Infact, Let Gen PC Katoch stated that
"In the Brig Bahri Committee.......it was decided that a Special Group be created for the conduct of a national level and Army Headquarters related strategic military special operations."

What part of a 'special operations capable' or 'super infantry' does strategic military special operations ?

Also if 9 Para cdo laid the blueprints for SPG, then please tell me the story and sources...I'd love to know them.

So is SG the best unit of India ?
- No...the way we see them equipped in Kashmir and the limited amount of operations tells it all, see even their mandate is not defined

Was it mandated as a Special Infantry or Special Operations Capable unit and not a Special Force?
- Clearly no! It says it all....it was mandated as a Special Forces unit which would take guys from Army SF, as the Brig Bahri Committee stated that "there was to be a proper interface between the Para SF and the Special Group. The Para SF would also ensure a regular feed to the Special Group." The Army struggled with unconventional operations due to rigid traditions, so SG was created to handle special operations.

What's lacking in SG ?
- The fact that their leadership suffers from the same thing every government organization in India suffers from...including the Army. Yes their leadership is as incompetent

Is it right to call SG as a Special Operations Capable Unit ?
- No! Firstly it was mandated to be something else, secondly, it was under Cabinet Sec not Army HQ as you say, R&AW itself is under Cabinet Sec.
- Now, try selling me the idea that a "Special Operations Capable Unit" "As Good as Ghataks" was tasked to rescue political prisoners from Bangladesh.
