The evidence suggests the contrary. IMO, Israel has already war gamed these scenarios.
Any significant escalation will push these barbarians into direct conflict against a combined Western + Eastern interests.

It will not unravel into Ummah vs Israel, the most likely scenario is Iran + Insurgents vs Israel + Gulf. It will not be pretty for Iran's current regime.
