Isn't Assam rifle practically same as Army ? Even Army officers & soldiers are deputed to Assam Rifles. Why would it be the case that Meiteis are okay with Army but not Assam Rifle ?

Also, why would Army/Assam rifle support/favour Kukis (or any rebel group) for that matter ?

Yeah again but it's complicated I think, from what I heard even tho the overall command is an army officer, some locals can be in a unit and based in their native place for ages all sector is removed. So, an AR unit in CCpur or Kangpokpi can have lots of kuki and stay there hence can have sympathy for the natives, but for CAPF it is all mixed up from different parts of India hence, more neutral acts.

Yes. That's it. Also, here the meira paibis block AR so as not to disrupt meitei attacks against kukis. Instead of being proactive on both sides, the AR tends to find it easier to act against the meiteis. The AR is useless when it comes to hilly areas where the kukis reside.

just like bangladesh protest and coup , clashes here also started with court directive over "reservation"

like bangladesh court directive was taken back here but made no difference .

That one catastrophic blunder of not exchanging populations during partition will end up either taking an extremely heavy toll of us or destroying the country once again.

Look at how our energy & resources are diverted to what's essentially an eyewash of an operation ( not blaming the Biswa Sarma government here ) - the equivalent of taking a pain killer for a malignant tumor.

Words fail to express one's frustration anguish & despair.

What do you want to know? I am Meitei, however, I try to stay as neutral as much as I can control my emotions, sometime it gets swayed away but In general I can say what I know.

Basically Unga bunga war is going on Northeast at present. Nagaland does not want to enter into the shitshow but suddenly conflict between various Northeast militant groups.

The only way we can end is to bring Development into Northeast and force people out of this perennial Tribal stands off.

Assam started with few industrial developments. Need all other states to bring some industries.
