Re Pak Army movement, I think it is happening for their internal political goals. The desired consolidation that Munir wanted from Op Sindoor is waning off fast, Imran Khan is still very popular amongst masses and is defiant in jail. Imran Khan has directly challenged Munir recently and asked his party PTI for protests starting Aug 5.

These movements/deployments are an attempt to portray PA as their saviour from India and consolidate Munir's hold and power. Same thing they tried with Pahalgam and anticipated Indian retaliation.

With PA, October is a critical time when the original term for Munir ends and their generals are to be promoted. Many of the corps commanders who are equivalent to Munir in seniority will retire at that time too.
