This was also good fun, when I first saw AWACS down, I was like, good lord, what kind of standoff missiles are we having that it can down an AWACS from across the border! Maybe we should attack Diego Garcia rather than Pakistan then!

I bet the people who reported do not understand the philosophy of Early warning at the slightest. The only scenario where am AWACs is shot down is when there is a sudden large scale ingress of Airplanes from our side, and all AWACS landing pad also destroyed so that it cannot land even after seeing potential attackers atleast half an hour in advance. That's an impossible scenario, even if USA attacks Pakistan.

As it was discussed before on the utility of cheap drones, used by Pakistan, this is now proven beyond any doubt that a well-layered defence grid can neutralise these toys at whim.
