Let there be no doubt that the “new normal” notwithstanding, this deterrent can only be sustained by maintaining an overwhelming technological and military edge, which must be economically out of reach of Pakistan. With near–technological parity, the armed forces have delivered this recent victory by the skin of their teeth. Indian Armed Forces need to be transformed, and this requires political focus. It’s crucial that the defence budget is doubled to 4 per cent of the GDP.

I also give phull sapport to 4% of GDP as defense spending.
However bulk must be spend on domestic development and production and tech acquisition from foreign sources.
Most of these 4% shills just happen to be dallas for Uncle Sam, like the fat hoe who writes for the same Coupta's rag
