Operation Sindoor and Aftermath

Even having Field Marshal Manekshaw's picture next to this clown feels like a grave insult. If Manekshaw was alive today, with the current technological superiority of the Indian army at his disposal to command, he would've blitzkrieged pakis so hard they'd have another generational trauma, and curve out PoK.
Wonder what his views were on Op Parakram. If someone knows, please point me in the right direction.

He never commented on it publicly. I don't think he'd have liked it.

I was away from Twitter for past few weeks apart from some suggestions that pop up in my mobile chrome

What is this shit
Why do these software engineers have so much entitlement of their knowledge despite knowing shit regarding subject matter
It's nice that u have done tremendous amount of excellent coding and earned tons of money but that doesn't make u expert in every matter
These guys think reading few articles and wiki page give them enough fuel to comment

I would have ignored it but I saw some of the other tweets of his associates basically similar accounts and all had these things in common
-we lost info war
-american weapon superior saar
-it was 50/50

BC match chal raha hai yaha pe?

In times of crisis, people become enthusiasts and experts in a heartbeat despite having barely superficial amount of knowledge about the subject. The amount of braindead takes I've heard over the years about Covid-19, pandemic economy, Russia-Ukraine war, Manipur crisis, blind Trump fellatio pre-2024 US election and what not has made me numb to these people and their glorious takes.

The "info war" was crushed the moment even Al Jazeera and NYT had to begrudgingly admit that IAF had bombed Paki airfields after witnessing images that were procured from private satellite firms. Even Chinki satellites had confirmed the successes of Indian attacks while there is 0 evidence of any real damage to any IAF base that could be verified by any satellite firms, no drone/missile footage was released by Porkis and the only thing they had to show for the whole fiasco was a grainy pic where nobody could even see an S-400. If there is a Porkie or doomer lurking in this thread, I would challenge them to conclusively identify the S-400 from the ISPR pic.

The real war was much worse. The "last laugh" Porkies had by launching a drone attack on the day after ceasefire was countered with ease and the only damage and loss of life it caused was with the debris falling on to people's homes (there is literally no evidence of any drone caused destruction in Indian side of the border). The only real deadly response they had was with their shelling which was duly answered in kind. India bombed Paki air force assets in broad daylight and disabled runways, air defense radars, a mobile command and a hangar with a Saab Erieye getting spitroasted inside it, among others (the C-130). If Operation Sindoor had escalated into a real war, no Paki aircraft would be able to take it to the skies and those that are already in the skies, would have no option but go for hard landing and risk damage and prolonged grounding for maintenance (at best) if they aren't destroyed by AAMs. We had them by the balls.

I don't think he had an opinion, atleast not one he voiced publicly. One of the Chiefs had called a meet of all former Chiefs to give their opinion on what should be done, Manekshaw when asked said that he didn't take any advice from Former Chiefs and he certainly wasn't going to be giving any.

Ruskis are desperate. The Su-57 project is fucked unless someone with deep pockets bankrolls it. Chinks have their own fifth generation fighters and have no real need for Ruski jets. The Arabs are deterred by the American sanctions and fucked off as soon as Putin got himself in a forever war. If Rafale is a piece of trash, Su-57 is an art gallery piece that the Ruskis don't have the balls to use it in combat. It's a huge scam and India shouldn't touch it with a fifty foot pole.

US ((( alliances ))) are not alliances by any dictionary definition but vassal-dom.
Being a US ally means your foreign policy is dictated by Washinton DC

:facepalm4:
All alliances are set up that way. There is a lot of power and size disparity between the major country and it's allies. US and it's allies, the Soviet Union and it's allies, even China and it's allies. India is the weird one out because it's not the major but can't really be a minor ally because of its size. There are no near equals in any big power alliance even if there is substantial disparity in actual power (say US-India). Senior US officials and politicians are frustrated with India, even if they don't always voice it. They are not used to dealing with such a large country and therefore have lots of grievances of how India behaves. Its the primary reason why the US will never completely support India in any conflict with Pakistan, as in the present situation. Conflict with China may be a different case.

RT.com has been on overdrive over the last few days trying to piss down on Rafale by showing IAF in poor light, simply to promote the Su 57. their desperation is so apparent, it's pitiable!

India is putting itself in a dangerous spot with letting our entire line of future aircraft tejas tejas mk1A and tejas mk2 depend solely on American engines.

If Americans can stop weapon deliveries to their best buddy Israel for a few months over Gaza rest assured engine supply will be choked if India decides to escalate against pakistan.

The absolute shortsightedness is mind boggling and downright ridiculous. All the members here harping about how F-35 could end up being a hanger queen well guess what tejas is being literally set up to be a hanger queen.

Any diplomat worth its salt can see India and America are on a collision course wrt bangladesh and pakistan and yet we in our infinite wisdom let them gain control of airforce so easily.

I understand why members here have a hate bonner for ruskies but soon enough a lot of people are going to understand the deal with the devil we just made.
