These officers have studied from officer schools, their entire world view comes from what they have studied like 30 years ago. Our boomer class refuses to get out of their outdates world view

China has a whole bevy of conventional ballistic missiles in the thousands which will be used in any conflict..

And believe me, even with all this nuclear mardangiri on every side . No bosadiwala will retaliate with nukes, to China's use of conventional ballistic missiles, just because it could carry nukes..
Enemy having a massive nuclear arsenal means unless your army is on the verge of destruction or have been nuked yourself, no country will retaliate with nukes..

No need to go on a meltdown. Losses are part of conflicts. Loss of 2-3 jets is nothing in comparison to what we achieved in those few days. My only gripe with this interview is how he presented it that's it. I think IAF will release a report eventually with which assets we lossed and how many PAF jets we might have downed.

It's not about the losses, it's about the narrative, no one here cares how many we loses, we only care how the narrative is

It will be a loss if you accept defeat. This is exactly why Pakis are good at it. There's lots of other instances of aerial engagement. India intercepted every last drone and missile launched in it's territory. The integrated air defense system played a huge role. There is so much material that is independently verifiable by satellite pics from private vendors but you lot just love to engage in any topic Pakis deflect to. Quit whining. There's evidence of only one plane being shot down and that is from Bathinda. Take the loss but don't forget what has been inflicted on.

No, it's not just symbolic. Other than monetary and economic costs, there is a term in economics called "opportunity costs". If those air force stations weren't rendered inoperable, it would've given Pakis the chance to retaliate properly with air assets where they have a BVR advantage. By striking runways, they may have had billions of dollars of equipment that wasn't damaged but they couldn't use it either. What's the point of having a fighter jet that you can't use to retaliate? It's not like we stopped at that. We bombed hangars (an AWACS was "damaged", 2 C-130s were visually confirmed to be on fire, etc.). We bombed their trailer based commands. We destroyed radars and HQ9/HQ16 batteries with visual confirmation.

Like i said for defence enthusiasts our lot is very thin skinned,bc why are you scared of loss of few jets I'd gladly take out rout of pak airbases with assets being destroyed even at cost of few jets down

Pralay is operational.
Depressed trajectories indicate a modern nuke delivery vehicle, which PAK will use if it means to nuke India.. Fatah missiles are old and easy to intercept.. not ones that Pakistan would use to deliver nukes..

China has a NFU policy.

China still threatened India with nukes during Sumdurong Chu standoff..although China has NFU since 1960s
India too might not be strictly NFU..and might use counter force tactical nukes if nuclear use by Pakistan is imminent.. Ultimately these NFU declarations don't mean much..and you can't base your military plans on enemy's good intentions..

I wrote China's so called conventional ballistic missiles "could" be carrying nukes.. DF-17 or DF-26 could be nuclear delivery vehicles as well.. But, no country will initiate a nuclear war against China just because a DF-17 or DF-26 is in the air and moving towards them, and could be carrying nukes.. because initiating a nuclear war against a major nuclear war is guarantee to have one's own ass turned into radio active toast..
