Now that the legacy of Muzibur rehman is gone I hope things clears up for many delusional people . I was one of those delusional guy in my early 20s when I was learning our history of 1971 war and all attrocities by pakistan and information sources dominated by left liberals .. I had seen glimpses of reality outside the matrix of delusion when internet became more accessible in Bangladesh and went to see the comment section in daily star newspaper .

Then I realised it was kolkata where the direct action day started .. they are divided by culture but united by hatred for non muslim .. And this hatred transcend hatred for rapist and murderer of their own ancestors .
Congress someday ll comeback . I fear what our security policy ll be .. The way they allowed illigal immigrants for votes does not give much hope . Whatever happening in east is not sustainable.. There has to be a final solution at some time ..
And Hindus just kept waiting to get butchered?Legacy of Mujeeb's gone? Mujeeb himself was a prominent youth leader of the ML in the forefront of The Great Calcutta Riots organised by Suhrawardy & the ML before it backfired spectacularly on the malaun lungis & pranami Gandu delivered him a lifeline .
The image we have of Mujeeb in India as some sort of secular nationalist is mostly an Indian - read bhadralok creation which soon got lapped up by the English media.
To be clear it isn't totally a fabrication as it captures JUST one part of his political life essentially the period between 1969-71 where he was increasingly at odds with the West Paxtan leadership especially after he won the general elections & the transfer of power didn't happen .
That one instance of his disenchantment with the then West Paxtan leadership was used by the bhadralok to re define him & his politics. The establishment in India promoted the view as if fit right into the ruling party's view & historical role in opposing the TNT .
Add to that the situation in WB then which was in the midst of a Naxalite campaign with fears that the wanton killlings by Fauji Foundation of Bengali Hindus would spark a severe backlash in WB & from there to the rest of India which prompted promotion of this new makeover of Mujeeb & his politics .
Malaun lungis have always hated Bengali Hindus & have spared no effort in exterminating them all throughout British rule & later. Practically every religious movement in what's now BD then which rose up to take on the British eventually de generated into local massacres of the Bengali Hindus there.
Check on the Faraizi movement for more info on this topic which in many ways was the pre cursor to ethnic cleansing of Hindus in several regions across India dominated by the greens eventually resulting in the 1921 genocide of Hindus in Northern Kerala culminating in the partition & various other such localised phenomenon right through the 19th & 20th centuries.
