I would like some kind of relaxation in ownership of Arms or atleast making the process of obtaining a license simpler and easier. Also, allow more Arms company to offer pistols/revolvers/mousers for private ownership instead of the OFB crap people have to buy.​

Yes I firmly believe that people should be able to bear small arms to protect themselves . I don't support AKs and M4 being sold at shopping malls. I hope have made myself clear.

• AN/PSQ-23, laser rangefinder and aiming laser - 0.635kg
• PLx 1-8x-24mm, LPVO - 0.480kg
• Barrett BORS, ballistic calculator - 0.370kg
Mount everything on a rifle and that's 1.485kg

Though it isn't known but people who have used XM-157 claim it to be around 1.5kg. Also among all the various so called "smart sights" from XM-29 to FELIN to TrackingPoint; this one's perhaps the most refined and practical. Somehow add a thermal overlay (something we're already seeing in more and more holographic sights) without significant increase in weight and you'd have a F-35 level of tech in firearms.

As you said thermal overlay will only make it more useful
But still close to 10k for this

I have the same based belief as you when it comes to gun laws.

I do agree that it WOULD HAVE BEEN good to have gun laws like the US to increase Average Indian Civilians familiarity with Weapons and Closeness with Necessary Violence and Force.

BUT i wont want it at this stage of development and in an insufficiently culturally and ethnically homogenized county like India. I am all for regulations when it comes for civilian ownership for semi auto / full auto weapons .

But there's no sense in limiting easier access to basic shit like shotguns and .22 or bolt action rifles. regulations have made this such that only rich and powerful can get hands on guns .

As for mass shooting , there is loads of full auto weapons in mexico , mayanmar and even in some North east areas but there's no mass shooting there . Its more of a civilization problem .

Bureaucrats who issue licenses reject them saying the police is there to protect them and thus they don't need guns while they themselves travel with two gunmens .

And for fucks sake ease these regulations for rnd companies .
