What sets BeiDou apart is its ability to function completely independent of host infrastructure. These systems enable real-time, high-accuracy navigation in remote terrains where mobile signals are weak or nonexistent.

Goes without saying , if we crack this encryption , we'd be preventing a lot of such incidents & sending pigs to meet their 72 year old houri without much harm done.
The only issue is this isn't easy & the countries which've likely cracked this if at all won't be sharing such information with you.
This is adjacent to my field ( digital security) so i will say this - Beidou uses two types of encryption method- EDCSA and AES256
We have a super-computer that can crack EDCSA especially if smart-tracking is used for live edcsa usage ( meaning you are live tracking the encrypted signal as in you can tell terrorist activated cell phone right now to type message but you dunno what it is).
But i am afraid until we have quantum computing, we cannot crack any 256 bit encryption by brute force. So there's that.
However, there is another approach - signal spoofing, which is devastatingly effective against any GPS type satellite. Beidou is a high orbit GPS satellite. Meaning its much, much harder than US GPS to satellite spoof ( which is directly send signal to satellite as interference to fuck with it).
But the compromise of a high orbit satellite, is a weaker signal to ground ( more atmospheric interference), as ALL satellites, still technically orbit within the atmosphere ( even the highest transmission satellites orbit in the exosphere, which is atmosphere technically- so everything between itself and earth is signal inteference zone atmosphere)- only scientifically specialized x-band satellites and shit orbit higher.
So when you have a weak signal, spoofing signal is far easier - you can intercept basic gps signal (which is his location data, not the encrypted message jihadi is sending high command) and spoof the gps signal itself to lose communication with satellite/produce incorrect gps data, etc etc.
But for this, you need to be tracking the jihadi and the signal itself, its not a 'we point this magic device at space and fuck with satcom that jihadi is using 100s of km away/we crack the edcsa or 256 bit encryption code itself of the satcom system and listen in like NSA on every communciation' scenario.
