Expecting too much am afraid.
There is no good person to advise Modi. Modi v1 had Parrikar, had Swaraj, had Jaitley.
Compare them to the current set. Not one you can bank upon, except maybe Rajnath. But his forte is liasion with opposition, not decision making.
All in all, expect no decisive action, and Modi is happy his new fan base have kept their expectations for a mythical war in a far distant, more prepared future.
Certainly, he dug his own grave.
Am also wondering what kind of advice Shah and Yogi are giving him at this juncture. Seems he is doing meeting with everyone except the people who actually support him Shah and Yogi.
Also, until and unless PM or Cabinet has any meeting with President, forget any large scale military ops. She is the Supreme Leader of the armed forces, and regardless of her titular position, it's her signature which is needed for an invasion.
Conclusion: No action, only Sitzkrieg.
