An episode of the assault by a Russian unit, a stronghold of the Ukrainian army, using two TM-62M anti-tank mines. This method of assault has become quite common, anti-tank mines are used instead of grenades, since the effect of their use is stronger. The TM-62M anti-tank mine was developed in the USSR in the early 1960s, it is used by many armies, the mass of explosive in it is up to 10 kg. The video is shortened and filmed in Donbass, the exact location is unknown, as a result of the battle, several Ukrainian servicemen surrendered, shown at the end of the video.

Footage of Russian FPV drones attacking a Ukrainian Leopard 1A5 tank. The video was shot near the town of Stepanovka in the Donetsk direction. The Leopard 1A5 tank was created in Germany in 1987, it is a modernization of the first Leopard-1 tank, it has already been decommissioned. When creating the Leopard 1A5 tank, the designers relied on a powerful gun and excellent mobility, while the tank has weak basic armor. Judging by the video, the drone hit the place where the tank driver is located. Because of this, the Ukrainian Leopard 1A5 tank became uncontrollable and drove into a trench, where it eventually got stuck and was destroyed by drones.

On May 16, the Ukrainian Air Force reported losing contact with an F-16 fighter jet that was performing missions to repel an air attack by drones. Technology is changing the world. 100 years ago, naval power was determined by the number of battleships.
Now, any big warship is a fat target for these little drones.

guns are making a comeback on sea and land for these only
Your obsolete 40mm AA cannon now takes out loitering munition drones.
Same cannon on a boat can take out these drones, depending on how many are sent

Ukranians openly accepting their losses, of jet which has been donated.
Not afraid of patrons becoming upset and not giving more

Piglets across the border meanwhile still treat this jet as some intergalactic wunderwaffe :bplease:

There's no evidence of that, Russians the first days went in thinking they'll have settlement in a few weeks and they almost did by March 2022 if it weren't one senile Joseph Biden and another ginormous Turd named Boris. Russia officially claims or annexed 4 regions and that I think is their end goal till they actually paper another goal atleast for now.
And why did the Russians attack Mykolaiv city in "Mykolaiv Oblast" repeatedly in early 2022, at the start of the war. for Timepass ?

Mykolaiv city is not part of the "4 regions" of Donetsk, Lughansk, Zhaporzhia or Kherson.. The Russians later rationalized their objectives according to their capabilities at the time ( Back then Russia lacked the huge standing army it has now )

Russians tried and they failed and were even forced to withdraw from the capital of Kherson Oblast, on the other side of the Dneiper, due to logistical issues.. No shame in that..

This is an eternal confrontation of "sword and shield". Of course, there will be an antidote and something else will appear. The battlefield is very different from 2022. A million drones are circling on both sides. No one at the beginning of the war knew about the kill zone, when everything that moves within a distance of 15 km will be destroyed.

There were many unknown things back then. Probably the most important was how deep the west was going to support Ukraine with weapons. I admit I was naïve enough to think the west would not be so committed to Ukraine and escalate the conflict. I learned from that. Western leaders pride and ego is so huge it will allow Ukraine to fight to the last person so they can save face. Perhaps Russia thought the same way and if the west bailed on Ukraine, they would have taken Odessa within a year. It's too bad a million people have to die because of idiot leaders in Ukraine and the west.

If the initial Strike force of Russia was 50k more.. Russia would have taken Mykolaiv and then go on to cut off Odessa and isolate it.. West would not have supported Ukraine like it is doing now, if Rump Ukraine be landlocked..
Anyway, no one could have achieved more with the limited invasion force that Russia had in March 2022.. Russia did what they could with the limited forces they had at the time of 150000.. and Ukraine fought well as well.

People have the benefit of hindsight now..

You forgot Kazakhstan a month before the invasion. No one from the Kazakh army defended their people. Putler thought that the same would happen here.
