Mirages are lovely and all, but doesn't get my blood going; like seeing wreckages of shot-down F-16s would. The sheer joy of seeing westoids backpedaling with excuses like "older block aircraft". IAF could have shot down the entire fleet of paki mirages and jf-17 bandars and it would give me only half the joy of seeing scores of F-16 leftovers burning in a field. Doubt pakis even got to use J-10s this time. I don't think china would've risked it, since this conflict came out of syllabus, and chinks weren't ready with risk assessment and damage control. Although if IAF discloses J-10 shoot-down evidence, I'll be a very happy cookie.​

It's definitely SAAB AEW&C aircraft. We would not be using premium S400 missile for anything else other than a high value target. Porkis might have been flying their SAAB Erieye deep behind in their own air space knowing very well the strategic value of the aircraft and also away from our air-air missiles from our fighter aircrafts and our SAMs. They would not have expected us to use S400 to shoot down their SAAB thereby also revealing our S400 location.

It all makes sense now. We used S400 in Adampur to shoot down this aircraft. Once Porkis got to know the missile was fired from Adampur, they seemed to have attempted to take out S400 with nothing to show for. Looks like our air defenses were super solid. That one air defense system literally changes the way enemy thinks is astounding. It can also be a game changer. The enemy's airforce would be psychologically defeated after this shootdown. They would be pissing in their pants to be anywhere near the border.

I got that from Eurasian times written 2 days ago. We can corroborate this with the images of S400 most likely 40N6E missile which has a range of 400km. When I first saw it was clear it hit something. We didn't knew what aircraft, now we can conclude with videos posted today in this thread that it is indeed SAAB 2000.

No shrapnel damage, no seeker/warhead either. It either hit it's target or crashed on the ground but the videos show something big did crash over there with huge flames erupting and locals heard a huge blast. No Indian drone can create that huge volley of fire and smoke. Dinga is around 40km inside pakistan and no Indian drone other than loitering munition would and could go deep inside.

The Dinga photos and videos confirm something going down which is unlikely to be drones because of the amount of fire, also unlikely to be PAF AWACS because that place is only 40km from border, don't think so PAF would fly AWACS that close to border. It is most likely PAF F16 (most probable) or other jets, as reports already claimed 2 F16 down, 1 Mirage 3/5 and one Jf-17 of which JF17 and Mirage likely fell inside India. As far as the wreckage goes, this is only wreckage of 1 missile, there could be multiple missiles fired that successfully intercepted and detonated.
 
Oki guys I am now cent percent sure that IAF did scored an erieye awacs kill in dinga gujarat.. why? Well this particular image of the metalic part of the downed aircraft and the amount of fire it caused is a clear give away.... It's certainly not from drone as paki were claiming to be of ..1000318688.webp


So what it could be ?? Well it's a control surface actuator arm from wing flap (most certainly) of an aircraft.. based on it's metal structure nd the presence of what looks like a bushing or bearing housing (possibly for pivoting)..

PAF did acknowledged during their press conference that their AWACS was doing North South scan around Mianwali.. so it could be the case while it was taken down when it was completing it's sweep.

S400 is our silver bullet.. due to it PAF this time couldn't attempt any swift retort like drama which they did within 24 hours in 2019.

That's show's how effective is a long range strategic ADS is to adversarial 4th gen fighters.

PAF whole ORBAT got punctured by S400 battery stationed in Admapur that's why they undertook a mission to take it down however they failed horribly cause they couldn't launch the CM400 missile from a optimum distance i.e close to target to take it down.. instead they fired it from a distance which was beyond missile performance nd range thus both of the missiles crashed much before in Punjab.

CM400 can be easily intercepted by S400 no matter from what range or number it is fired, moreover S400 in India is also protected by other SAMs like MRSAM, Akash so it is almost impossible to hit it in India. Only probability where you can destroy a SAM like S400 is via Rockets like HIMARS where you can saturate it easily because of the very nature of MLRS system as it is the case in Russia-Ukraine war. But Indian systems are perhaps better protected than Russian ones because of the Integrated layered AD systems.
