Whatever SLBM if they launched I'll be interested to know from what axis they did it from. If launched from their coastal water then I guess they did it for their local audience consumption because it doesn't offer any tactical benefit and ultimately didn't have much effect on Israel.

These are basic ballistic mrbm missiles folks are comparing rocket strikes with missiles and calling these ballistic missiles as hypersonic any average ballistic missile in a straight path is above mach 5

Ballistic missiles slow down before impact. Hypersonic ones have detachable warhead to maintain velocity and some limited maneuvering capability to avoid interception

Cheap way to build a difficult to intercept missile even though most of its trajectory remains predictable until war head separates and maneuvers as it nears target area

Almost every missile these days can course correct to achieve good CEPs compared to Saddam`s Scuds. So they aren`t really rockets anymore
