They can sense that we've finally called their bluff off. Their concern is that if we somehow continued Operation Sindoor in a different way and let Pakistan crumble from within, they won't have an attack dog to distract us.
Americans tried to prop Bangladesh up, but that failed miserably, beyond rampant attack on Bangladeshi Hindus by their Islamist population.
The Chinese saw the Americans slipping in Dhaka and realized that Dhaka won't be a good bet. Afghanistan is too wild, Maldives is too insignificant, Sri Lankans are chummy with us, Nepal is... well, Nepal and Bhutan doesn't give a fuck about other countries.
Technically, they both are concerned that it's a matter of time before Pakistan is decimated and they'd then have to contend with India's full attention on both of them.
Another concern is about the closed-door cooperation with Russians. Our relations with Ruskies has changed in its mannerism, but the depth still remains. While we may not be BFFs like the Cold War, we still cooperate on keeping both US and China in check.
In Sino-American geopolitics, an unchecked India with the free will to cooperate with the Russians spells alarm bells.
I don't see why we are importing fertilizers from China when we can do the same from the Russians. Russia has a massive fertilizer production capability, as do Morocco and other countries in the north African region.
