Operation Sindoor & Aftermath (92 Viewers)

Quality of manpower in Indian armed forces is far superior to that of PLA. That and logistical challenges of Tibet and Indian Ocean are the only advantages in our favor.

Chinese weaponry may have short comings as even Russians don't not trust them enough to share cutting edge stuff. Their exposure to high quality equipment, its actual capabilities, performance, professional planning and use of it in large scale is limited as they are dependent on fleeting allies Paki pigs ,Turkroaches and Egyptian mummies to feed them with practical knowledge on western world's war machines.

Importing gold-plated Mercedes, BMWs, Armaanis with desi names will look great when conflicts last days. It will be suicidal if conflict stretches for years or even months. Next 10-15 years is very crucial for us to build deep reserves of affordable high-end equipment for prolonged war with China. Their humongus production capacity and their factories largely situated beyond reach of our fighter jets will given them undue advantage till then
Tbh we aren't ordering those foreign goods in numbers, where we have our own good options. Because those are mostly political jizya. Especially in case of USA. Take Stryker for example, we are only going to order some 150 or something irrc. When requirement is 500-600. Rest of those will go to domestic player. Obviously one can say this is a wastage of money, but gotta keep the critical component supplier happy until we become capable in that area.

‘Rafales, in the plural…absolutely not correct’: India’s defence secretary dismisses Pakistan claim

That implies a 'singular' Rafale did go down.

There are people still denying it here, that we lose zero aircraft.

Accept our losses and take pride in the fact that we did much more damage to our enemies. Also ensure the the stupid decisions taken on ROE and what not that led to these losses are never repeated again.

If you are fighting a war, do not expect the enemy to play by our fucking rules.

Chinese cannot stretch the war with India because Mountains eat men and their logistics are difficult.

India has considerable industrial capability and Navy to choke Chinese shipping lanes.

India need not have to worry about China.

You know the number of aircraft they have?

Underestimating the enemy is the stupidest thing to do, i hope our armed forces are not taking the same view.

They outnumber our air force 3 to 1, with hundreds of 5th gen fighters already in deployment and the likes of J36 to be inducted in a few years.

That thing has humongous range (supposedly), full stealth and ability to function as a pseudo strategic bomber.

We really need to up our game to maintain a credible deterrence against the chongs or they will be in the same position against us that we are against Pakistan.

This chest thumping and hubris is not going to help us go where we need to be.

all their aircraft cannot come to Indian border. At most they can spend 1/3 of their equipment on India. India can counter China and push them back.

You do know that they have strategic bombers , right?

And what makes you think they cannot 'come to the Indian border', lmao.

Explain please.

R-37M has so far been integrated with Irbis radar by Russia, not sure how quickly or feasible it is to integrate it with Bars radar.

Better candidate for emergency acquisition might be Sky Sting, Israel already has some experience integrating I-Derby ER with SU30MKI.

The Silent Switch: How China Is Building A Kill Button Inside India’s Critical Infrastructure

**

Summarizing -

1. Early 2021

Chinese state-linked hacking group, later identified as RedEcho, had infiltrated key systems within India’s power grid.

Over the course of several months, this group had managed to quietly establish digital links to at least ten of India’s most sensitive power-related entities. These included four of the country’s five Regional Load Despatch Centres, or RLDCs.
But the RLDCs weren’t the only targets.

The hackers were also found to be inside systems linked to a major thermal power station, two large shipping ports, and several high-voltage substations, critical infrastructure that enables electricity to travel across state lines and into homes, hospitals, airports, data centres, and military bases.

These systems form the invisible spine of India’s economy.

2 2022

Seven State Load Despatch Centres (SLDCs), which handle electricity distribution within states, were found to be compromised. Also hit were the Indian operations of a global logistics firm and, more worryingly, the country’s national emergency response system.

The breaches have deepened fears that China’s cyber strategy may go beyond disrupting infrastructure to actively undermining India’s ability to respond in a crisis.
***
China does not intend to exploit its access to India’s critical infrastructure immediately. But by embedding itself quietly in advance, it secures a strategic edge. If tensions escalate, the ability to disrupt civilian systems is already in place. The malware may lie dormant indefinitely, yet its mere presence alters the calculus of any future conflict.

*

They have placed malware at appropriate places so that it can be activated when the time comes.

Aim is to utterly paralyze the country/decision making process/communication/electricity grid & throwing everything to chaos.

Yeah thier ancient strategic bomber btw remind how old is thier bombers

The F15 is 40 years plus some change now. Still very potent.

Our Jags are half a century old , they can still do a job.

And they don't need their strategic bombers to hit us.

"It will be best in your interest, neither to underestimate nor to overestimate own strength or of others." - Chanakya

This attitude is what led to the collapse of the great Roman empire.

Never underestimate your enemies, first rule of warfare.

We need to prepare, build capacity, become strong enough to ensure China never crosses that line.

We can take pride in our strengths yet be pragmatic enough about our shortcomings wrt our enemies.

Clickbait headline or Media wala misunderstanding his statement. He just said the same thing as ADC in a more cryptic sophisticated tone. It is the whole good cop, bad cop setup. In this case the radical cop and the moderate cop. ADC is playing the radical cop who is openly calling out China while CDS is playing the moderate cop by using sophisticated softer tone to say the same thing. This is parallel to the Modi saying "Yudh nahi budh" and Rajnath saying "Peacetime is an illusion". Peak Chanakyaniti moment.
I'm really not sure what this guy is trying to do. A month back he was blurting out vague insinuations about us losing aircraft, probably in some attempt to sound clever or mysterious to foreign media. But it completely backfired, especially since the official position was that we had lost no aircraft. He single-handedly caused a massive embarrassment and humiliation, all of which could have easily been avoided.

At this point, I honestly believe he's just messing around with the government on purpose going out of his way to make these careless, offhand remarks. Either that, or he genuinely doesn’t grasp the weight his words carry. He comes off like a clueless blabbermouth with zero understanding of how a single poorly phrased sentence can be deliberately twisted to undermine your own narrative.

His earlier blunder already caused enough damage and gave the opposition, who had been waiting for any opportunity to attack Modi, a perfect opening. You’d think he would have learned from that and stayed away from public interviews altogether. But it’s starting to seem like he’s doing this deliberately now.

Aar paar ki ladai by India this time?
From Pakistan side, PAF is the most credible threat.

From Indian side, it is IN-IAF vis-a-vis Pakistan (if keeping it below the full scale war threshold). Also given Pakistan's vulnerable economic targets around Karachi, I think those need to be taken out in the next round. They will retaliate against similar Indian targets but the relative crippling effect will be many order of magnitude higher on Pakistan and it's economy than on India.

Basically playing to own advantages.

S400 can take of these.

Strategic bombers can be intercepted deep into India territory.

Lmao strategic bombers will not be unescorted, nor will they be deployed before our AD has been neutralised.

Do not underestimate the sheer advantage of having massive numbers, irrespective of anything else. And the capability to pump out even more during war.

who said that India's AD can be nuetralized?

It is a home grown defence which can be deployed or refurbished any number of times.

Anyone else seeing massive jet activity overhead?
Like I am hearing it from past half an hour now
IAF to conduct air exercise in Rajasthan close to the southern section of border with pakistan, will kickstart from tonight
