DRDO & PSUs (45 Viewers)

People who like to blame military for import mania should carefully read this policy being proposed. They now want to practically skirt off field evaluation held by military. So now subpar products like stryker will no more be failed by military in trials, paving way for their induction as they are already in service with foreign Army. Military in our power pyramid sits low .

I bash the UN Imported Airforce by comparing them to the Indian Navy but then forces-level push is absolutely nothing compared to the Govt and Baboo level push to get shit done.

Imagine they want to do away with the hallowed ((( procedure ))) just to import this American garbage as their Jaziya payment.

You won't even have Raul Gandi screaming SCAM over this because sabka maalik ek

btw the Defense Secretary baboo's daughter is also settled in the US just like Lazer Eye's kids

He always shills for usa, or israel.
He was literally shilling for Drump in one video.

With the above developments he's definetly a govt shill, which is why he was harping on the ((( battle tested ))) meme to convince his dehati audience
It is also why he was comparing Stryker to 2200 BMP2s in service

With BEML involved a bulk order is surely going to be placed just for Jaziya

Hehe boi .
Now see this , bous denel made m3 mortar .81mm. View attachment 43518south african 81 mm ammo.View attachment 43519View attachment 43520

Indian 81 mm ammo.

We have taken inspiration from all sorts of places .

This is the way lol
I'd prefer "steal from 5 places and reverse engineer ourselves" anyday to the the current model of Import4Bribe or Import4Jaziya

I think the govt has a baniya mindset and the strategic autonomy thing is only a figleaf jhumla to get cheap Russian oil.

We are doing peace and de-escalation with China because we need their machines and technicians for our industrialization.

It's Stryker today pushed in with the ((( battle proven ))) lie it will be the F-16 pushed under the same lie.

All for the sake of some trade deal with US which will be cancelled within the mercurial orange ape's tenure or be subject to ((( presidential review ))) of whoever replaces him.

There is also the curious trend of all domestic projects running on US engines whether gas turbines or diesel engines

Couple of things I thought I'd make y'all aware of

>WhaP/Kestrel has Cummins engine, which is an American company

>LT Zorawar also has a Cummins engine, and a Belgian cannon

>Arjun has an engine from MTU, ofc it's numbers are low but this is to show y'all our ((( trajectory )))

>Shivalik, Nilgiri classes and INS Vikrant have GE gas turbines, It's the engine of choice for future ships too
>Tejas Mk1a and Mk2 MWF ka toh aap ko pata hi hai :bplease:

So when Uncle Sam says jump, we say "How High Saar?!!"

And this is why Stryker and Javelin are being bought

In addition to this list a new HALE drone is also under development that uses a Honeywell Turboprop engine.

The only thing the F-21 gets from the F-35, is the large central display. Lockheed is naming their bird like General Motors or Chevrolet name trims of the same car. Otherwise it's identical spec-wise to a block 70 F-16 with a reinforced airframe and a dorsal spine for extra electronics. Same CFTs, JHMCS II Helmet mounted display, APG-83 AESA, same digital FBW, same F110-GE-132 engine, near identical (worse) mission computer. Few misc differences are AFNet and C4I integration, downgraded EW suite, probe and drougue refuelling and tripple ejector racks for A2A missiles.

Well then we should go for M88 hot core mated with Kaveri engine for our MK1A additional orders. This will make dependence on F404 little less.

France is a better partner relative to UK in today's geopolitical flux. France can exercise a bit more freedom to US dictate/influence than UK.

Brits and ze germans are yet to prove themselves as a reliable partner, when it comes to their dealings with India. it's a case of idealism vs realism, when it comes to application of their foreign policy.

Not talking in the UK vs France context.

I'm just saying in the "foreign tech partner" and "3rd world investor" setup, in most cases the tech partner doesn't actually share any tech at all and 3rd world is left holding the bag.

Hope the Govt/DRDO motivation here is extracting whatever tech possible and not just accepting this co-development setup as some panacea that will magically give us our own jet engine without foreign dependency

Indian Defense fanboys cannot believe Javelin and Stryker being bulk purchases for jaziya
So they come up with copes like below.

I really pray his cope is true but.

Gucci quantities of Shartryker and large quantities of WhAp

not a surprise a such, when the number of times the word interoperability comes up in bilateral statements over the years are counted.

there is slim chance muricans "need" Indian equipment in their theatres (as of now). muricans will need their own equipment they are familiar with, just in case some joint op needs to be conducted in our part of the world.

these are exploratory concepts, what exact shape these things will take after say 10-15 years, only pentagon and NSC knows.

YearOccurrences of "Interoperability"Document TypeContext

20161Joint StatementCybersecurity and open Internet
20201Joint Press StatementEnhanced defense interoperability between armies

What if the long term plan is to have ops within India itself? Lt Col Rajan in recent ANY podcast has hinted so. Next 10-15 yrs are era of war (big and small) and there is chance shall see change in geography (+ve or -ve ).
