Shi Pei Pu (Chinese: 时佩璞; pinyin: Shí Pèipú; 21 December 1938 – 30 June 2009)[1] was a Chinese opera singer from Beijing. He became a spy and obtained secrets from Bernard Boursicot, an employee in the French embassy, during a 20-year-long sexual affair in which the performer convinced Boursicot that he was a woman. He claimed to have had a child that he insisted had been born through their relations. The story made headlines in France when the facts were revealed.

why Free ? Many Indians are thriving in China, earning substantial incomes by teaching Hindi and Yoga to Chinese learners.

There are approximately 500 people in China learning Hindi, and they are mainly concentrated in about a dozen universities. It is difficult to make a living solely by teaching Hindi.

Yes and I've also informed you before that a vast majority of these students , say something like 98-99% would be students of medicine.

The craze to study medicine is such that if a medical college is set up in Antarctica or Burkina Faso you'd find Indian students there.

For your kind information , apparently there were > ~ 20,000 students studying medicine last year in Bangladesh if you can believe it .

News came to light because they were stranded there in the wake of violent protests which ultimately resulted in the overthrow of the Shaikh Hasina Wajed government . Most people here were shocked Indians would travel to Bangladesh to study that too medicine of all subjects.

The best part is none of these medical degrees including from China are recognised by the GoI . In order to get a license to practice here these students would've to clear internal examinations here which most of them fail for that's how the system is designed.

It'd be better if these students stayed back in China to practice medicine there which I believe some of them are doing & others would be advised to seek their fortunes in countries which recognises these degrees.

I personally welcome some of excellent students from southasia would stay after graduation.

I heard some of early graduated Indian doctors got employed in Chinese hospital system after mastering Chinese, and even a pakistani got 5th ranking in a good hospital in Xi'an.

Average mid level doctors in China got around 50k to 100k USD per yr, not bad for them.
