Indian Special Forces

Man, you have no clue about SAS.
SAS's training is conducted in multiple countries. They comes to Nepal for mountain training, go to Malaysia for jungle warfare training, ... No I am not talking about joint excercise. All cadets goes to other countries training schools in which SAS instructors train them there. Go watch the interview of that Nepali Gurkha guy who become SAS soldier. In one interview he mentions about the countries he visited during his training time.

And for ST6. 6 isn't just infantry convert SF soldier, they already are well trained SF, their training span all over US military training schools. And unlike indian Marcos or Garuds, it's mandatory for all ST6 cadets to attend these training institutes. ST6 soldiers are already trained at Joint Expeditionary Base–Little Creek (15000 acres) and Naval Amphibious Base Coronado (1000 acres for seal training) from Navy's side.

How many Marcos or Garuds attend army run schools!!?? Very few. That's the problem. In India army generals don't even like Marcos getting deployed in Kashmir or Assam.
Ya you are right.

Training is not mandatory for them but for Para it is pretty important.

However, not everyone is trained in all courses even in Para.

the only program on the scout sniper levels we might have is that of MARCOS & NSG
Its funny that people here are mentioning trying to emulate the scout snipers(Program) when the Marines have already phased it out. Setting up such a school/Program would definitely be helpful.

From what I know US marines already has "scout/reconnaissance training for marines and also a marksmen training.
So the "scout sniper" role is overlapped.
They can just send those who are trained in scout role to marksmen training.
So the role is not being phased out, the scout sniper school is not needed for the role.
