Be it a technical malfunction, sabotage by an enemy state or pilot error. Whatever may be the reason behind the ill fated Air India Boeing 787's crash, we will know everything in due time, or at least what the Indian government wishes to make public to the world.
To everyone, I understand that this is a time of grave confusion for the Indian & Global Aviation community but all I see are more and more conspiracy theories.
I won't bring them up here but one thing that really upsets me is how some people are using this incident to engage in content farming. I just saw some idiots online post the video of Yeti Airlines Flight 691's crash (Which happened back in early 2023 in Nepal) and title it as "Air India Flight 787's Final Moments caught on tape" + some stupid emojis + ridiculous BGM.
Also I saw one account post a video of a mummy's corpse from Egypt (Or some other place) and title it as "Dead body of Gujarat's EX CM Vijay Rupani", seriously? How stupid is that, and it's even more surprising how some people are so gullible enough to fall for it.
One more thing that I didn't like was seeing people upload videos of the bodies from the crash site. Just the other day I saw my account watching some reels on Instagram showing the dead burnt remains of the passengers, it was absolutely sickening for me to watch them. I do not think that it's a right thing to upload such horrific visuals online, without any "gruesome" spoiler alert. And the most disgusting thing with respect to this incident isn't the people doing content farming or posting gruesome visuals of the bodies of the victims, but rather the flood of racist comments by Westerners and ofcourse from our neighbours. Seriously, have people lost all of Their humanity? Kaha gaye ap sabke insaaniyat? Westerners were literally rejoicing over the dead bodies of the passengers and passing vulgar and racist comments. And also those people who were posting those laughing emojis on FB on that post. Can't believe what this world has stooped down too.
