Air India AI 171 Crash in Ahemdabad (11 Viewers)

Can this cause a stall only when both the engines are out, or even with both engines running ?
If both engines are out and you retract flaps you are gone.

If both engines are running and you retract flaps if u immediately notice and go full power and handle it well maybe just maybe you can survive.

But in the videos there is no sound of full power and a full power impact would have killed even more people on ground.

wtf....

aajtak guys are reporting that black box hasnt been found yet.

@COLDHEARTED AVIATOR turboprops are safe right? my father once travelled in an atr72 from jaipur to pantnagar and he said that in the whole journey his heart was beating at 100+. he said that he never had any issue with turbofans one, that atr was moving so much, turbulence too and engine noise scared him so much that he will never fly in an atr or q400. he would rather take a train or car to mountains.

Because props have a lower flt ceiling of around 25k feet, they cannot 'beat' the weather by flying above it.

Turboprops are as safe as jets, if not safer.

The atr is a slow aircraft though, which is why i hate it.

The dash 8 is much faster, almost jet like.

Its one of the safest aircraft out there, dumb decision. Will kill basically half the international routes to Europe.

Till we recover the CVR and FDR, these decisions are illogical. Look at the safety record of the aircraft in 20 years of service.
anyday airbus aircrafts are much more safer with their fbw, a350 can take over 787 and old 777 easily

Potential ching cong alert?

🤣
I am done arguing logic with pimply faced teenagers living with their parents.

I mean data, track record and facts mean nothing to you. the record of the aircraft speaks for itself.

Like waiting for the CVR and FDR is a radical idea, not grounded in logic.

The number of lobotomised geniuses in this place is hilarious.

Disagree with someone? Hurr durr, chong alert. 🤣 What are you, 12 or something?

The only 'retarded' person is you and your brethren. Just saw your post history, you are an embarrassment to be very kind.

Every one of my post on this thread has been nothing but grounded in logic, while emphathising with the victims in a sensitive manner. But a sarkari school education has clearly not instilled basic comprehension skills in you, evidently.

Everyone I do not like has 'a sarkari school education reee' award.

Take a look at your previous posts. They sound so retarded that even the batmunchers laugh at you.

Third party phoren companies cause delay in maintenance due to negligence by money hungry corporate causing even more issues in a speculated to be badly produced airplane. But regular indians need to "stop face saving"

I don't know what gives NRIs the confidence to be this confidently wrong in every take they give.
Regular Indians do not demand better services from these money hungry corporates and that is why you have the so called NRIs who end up dying.

It seems like you have vile hatred against NRIs. NRIs are not the problem of India, its regular idiots in India who make these policy decisions.

Indian airports are always surrounded by slums and houses jam packed. When I was still in India in the late 2000s, regularly flights had to abort takeoffs or landings due to cattle getting on to the runway in Ahmedabad.

Governments in India are never thinking ahead for growth. Always reactive.

I doubt it will be permanently grounded, unless they suddenly discover something seriously wrong with the systems.

If 737 could make a comeback after all the incidents that happened, i doubt the dreamliner will be gone so soon.

Plus it's the first incident for this plane in almost two decades of flying. Would be prudent to wait and see the reasons after analysing the data from the black box.

Don't soil this topic with this teenage aggro bs, stick to the topic and show some respect to the victims.

I once travelled from Biratnagar to Kathmandu on same turboprop plane. Man that was scary , pilot was flying like it was a fighter jet.Passengers started crying 😭 & I had made peace 🕊️ with God . Barely 15 days after that incident a plane crashed in Kathmandu.
