Azerbaijan has unveiled its first Fireforce air defense system, equipped with a combat laser and designed to combat drones. The Fireforce laser system can be mounted on light armored vehicles and heavy-duty vehicles. The Fireforce laser is equipped with 30-kilowatt sources, which allows it to effectively destroy targets at a distance of 1,000 meters. The laser demonstrated the ability to burn through, presumably, a 15-mm steel sheet. It is noted that the greatest efficiency of the laser will be achieved when used against small and light drones. The drone guidance system is unknown, and no radars are visually visible. The laser wavelength is 1064 nm. The cooling system is liquid. A more effective 50-kilowatt laser system is expected to appear in the near future. The weight of the entire Fireforce air defense system is about 900 kilograms.

Footage of the Azerbaijani army's exercises using Russian-made T-90S tanks. Deliveries of T-90S to Azerbaijan began in 2013, and Azerbaijan currently has 93 tanks. The tanks are equipped with air conditioners, early-model self-entrenching knives, and Shtora-1 optical-electronic suppression systems, which we previously covered. According to the exercise plan, the tanks were put on alert and withdrawn from their permanent deployment points to concentration areas. The tank units completed the tasks of approaching the enemy and destroying enemy targets on the move and on the spot.
