They hate MBS just like they hate our guy and the other folks because he doesn't follow US orders and so do the Saudi vassals/underlings like UAE.

However he has to play both sides so that the Poorsians don't have an open season on his country, especially the oil facilities.

Yuvraj MBS current scheme seems to be to get the US to sign a pact where they will come to Saudi's defense in case of Irani hamla, similar to what happened with Kuwait when Saddam's Iraq invaded

The Indian households reportedly hold a mammoth 21,000 tonnes of gold. If this is true, it surpasses gold reserves of all countries put together. Now one might argue the India household gold in "unavailable" to the Indian government for any practical purposes.

The Indian households reportedly hold a mammoth 21,000 tonnes of gold. If this is true, it surpasses gold reserves of all countries put together. Now one might argue the India household gold in "unavailable" to the Indian government for any practical purposes.

The Indian govt. could try a US govt. like gold seizure program, which if memory serves me correct, US govt. did at some point in early 1900s - it was illegal to own more than a certain maximum quantity of gold in any format ( except for the limited edition golden eagles US mint used to release back in the day) and that amount was just a few grams. Forced US citizens to hand over literally tonnes and tonnes of gold to the US govt.
But ofcourse, this wont ever happen in our lifetime, because the day the govt announced this plan, the PM- whomever is the PM- will get lynched Mussolini style and hung from india-gate, at least for the duration of our lifetimes.

You dont get gold from civilians by inventivisation. You get it by making it flat out illegl like murrica did and even then you dont get half as much as you expected.
