Mf's china's lack of diversity and ccp's suppression of other identities and promoting chinese identity( it's not like other identities are completely lost, but they are secondary, and it's in subconsciousness of chinese people) along with strong central gov. Have given far better result.

I don't want to pour cold water on people's happiness... but this tax relief celebrations will last only 1 year for certain govt employees.

I will take into consideration only Pay level 6 to Pay level 9 to explain my point.

A police sub inspector and equivalent ranks like Junior engineers get Pay level 6 which comes to around 65K a month in Bihar & JH.

A DSP & equivalents like Block development officers get Pay level 9 which comes to around 0.96-1.05 lakh a month in Bihar & JH

Pay level 6 is the lowest/starting in Group-B service

Pay level 9 is the lowest/starting in Group-A service

As of next financial yr most in these Pay levels won't have to pay IT due to new tax exemption limit of 12.75L.

With the 8th Pay commission coming in from 2026... the salaries of all these would get multiplied by 1.5x* or more... & all of them will again fall in tax bracket

(*Rumors are of 2x or more but am being conservative... & if it really gets 2x then even pay level 5 will enter tax bracket)

Extremely clever step by GOI... & nobody's talking about it.

This is true that Chinese population is much lower than what is presented.

I keep wondering about India's real population too. Even here corruption is endemic in rural , urban local institutions.

Govt is openly claming to have eliminated crores of fake ration cards. People migrate and end up with documents at multiple places because with little money you can almost any certificate here.

Here in Madhya Pradesh we are facing labour shortage especially for agriculture work . Small business are hiring skilled workers from UP ( furniture) rajsthan ( borewell) and Bihar ( gur production from sugarcane) .
Yet at the same time we read advertisement for domestic workers all the way from Tamil Nadu! Is situation so bad in Tamil Nadu that they can't domestic workers locally. There was news of chenai metro work suffering from severe labour shortage.

We need a thorough census with special care to eliminate duplicacy.

When the census took place way back in 2011, I heard stories from many who were doing the groundwork:
A lot of M families reported more members then actual and A lot of H families reported less than actual with many weird theories for both behavior.​

Years ago I saw some theory on reddit that, most of the population reported between a certain time period ( they couldn't agree as to exactly if its 1960 or 1950 to 70 or till 80) isn't real . In places like Africa or Chinese rural area the yhave something called zombie population, which according to that theory goes something like , in these places the local govt basically doesn't account for any excess deaths, meaning if an area has 100 kids born a certain year but within 10 years 40 of them die for various reason, the census officials there would still count 100 alive 10 year old kids.

Now the real magic starts after this, what happens is, international orgs will often take this data for face value AND extrapolate this data to further come up with more incorrect data , one way is they will do something like 10 year olds in 25 years will become adults thus have "x" number of kids and so on. But as we discussed before that 10 year old child number is exaggerated, thus it creates this cycle of bullshit data that gets more incorrect by each cycle . Now why would they do it ? Its for more funding from aboard in the name of humanitarian aid, as more population more aid.

Since 1947 parties have been pandering to the greens.
At the end of the day however greens are only the accompaniment, the main course is ofc the Jaatiman who votes on the basis of Kaun Jaat Ba?

Since 2014 however Jaatiman is facing tough competition from Mudi's Hindutva.

Since 90s to 2010s it was jaat that was top, which is why you have Laloo, Mulayam, Mayawati being in coalition govts.

How does one account for migrant population or illegal immigrants apart from over & under reporting?

I believe whatever figure the census throws up we need to add a factor of error of +/- 10% . In case of the peacefuls it should always be + 10% by default . Why?

Friends in my age group among non peacefuls have as a rule a 1 child policy. Sometimes it's no children. Whereas for peacefuls it is 2-3 with the latter number ruling.

And these guys themselves came from large families with each of them having on an average 5-6 siblings.

So yes, it's true their TFR is dropping but it's in a healthy way whilst ours is in an alarming manner. Once again this is based on anecdotal experience subject to the time space dynamic.
